I used to love this service department. I was known by name and they were always friendly. My previous dodge dealer also knew me by name because I am a loyal customer. This is my 3rd Durang I was known by name and they were always friendly. My previous dodge dealer also knew me by name because I am a loyal customer. This is my 3rd Durango. I made an appt online to check out why my FCW light is coming on randomly and going back off. In the meantime I researched the issue on the Dodge Forums. It's a common problem. When arriving at the dealership I was told it's 48-72 hrs for "Diagnostic" work. ???? Why is it diagnostic? I have a light coming on so the FCW sensors need checked, aligned, etc. It's a known problem. Why does that need to take 3 days? At 48 hrs I called and was told that hopefully they would have an answer that afternoon or the next morning. Needless to say I called at 72 hours and again was told that the tech had not had a chance to look at it yet, but since it was 72 hrs they would look into it. REALLY ???? I had to call to remind them that my car was sitting there? She said she would look into it. I was so mad that I called back and decided that I was waiting no longer, I was going to get my car. When I called it went to voicemail. Ummmm? I know they have caller ID because when I called the first time they knew exactly who I was. So I called the service manager and left a message to call me. I gave it a while and then called back to the service department, again it went to voicemail. So now I am fuming. No one bothered to call me back and I am really hoping that they don't have my car in the shop when I get there because no one bothered to call me back in the 2 hrs I had to wait for my husband to get home to take me to pick up my car. Upon arriving a gentleman and the first cubical said someone would be right with me. I am at this point standing by a cubicle and two girls standing there talking paying no attention to me. Another gentleman comes around the corner and he asks if I had been helped. I said no and he asked who my adviser was. I said, Phoenix (who I had not talked to. Maria answered my earlier calls) He said, "Oh, that's Phoenix right there." He was pointing to one of the girls standing there talking. Still no acknowledgement from Phoenix who continued to talk. She then walks away. I am assuming at this point that she decided to go to the service bay. She comes back and says, "He could not get the light to come on." REALLY !! I already know that the light was not on and probably would not come on because it randomly comes on. It really upset me that the car sat there for 3 days for them to tell me that the light did not come back on AND the only reason that they finally "supposedly" looked at my car was because I called and complained. At that point I just wanted my car back and I will not be returning to Thunder CJDR in Bartow, FL again. It's a shame that I had to go through this much frustration and anger because there is no customer service etiquette left in this world. How hard would it have been to even just say to me, "I am sorry it took so long Mrs. Della. The tech could not duplicate the light coming on but he cleaned the sensor and moved your SunPass to a different location. Hopefully, your light will not come on again. If it does just let us know and we will have to investigate further." But instead I got the cold shoulder and a nasty look from Phoenix as she handed me my key fob. More
