Never in my LIFE have I dealt with such xxxx as these douchbags. I came to them and told them that I cannot spend anymore than $275 a month on a vehicle. I repeatedly told them this. After showing me the douchbags. I came to them and told them that I cannot spend anymore than $275 a month on a vehicle. I repeatedly told them this. After showing me the cars that fell into my "budget", I was then yelled at for not being able to pay more than $275 per month, even though I had said this repeatedly from the second that I walked in the door. Since I was desperate, i agreed to a payment of almost $100 more than my budget. They then promised tons of things for the car, gas fill up, detail, oil change, blah blah blah...When I tried to get it done, I was told that the person who handles that was on vacation and to call them the next week. I called and was told and they told me that those promises expire within one week of buying the car. Go figure they'd set me up like that. I was then belittled and threated with reposession when I argued the fact that they TOLD me to wait. I could go on and on about how HORRIBLE they are, but why waste any MORE of my time with them. I HATE THIS COMPANY AND YOU WILL TOO! I promise you!!! More
Mike is a hot headed small excuse for a man. he cursed at us in front of our duaghter which made her cry. just because we asked him why the interest charge was higher from what we discussed earlier that week us in front of our duaghter which made her cry. just because we asked him why the interest charge was higher from what we discussed earlier that week. He said & I quote "take the car or not I don't give a fu@%. stop wasting my time or get the xxxx off my lot" His goones "sales reps" then started feeding his igo. they got in my husbands face & said get the xxxx of the lot you worthless piece of crap. I swear before everything that is good in this world that we did not do anything wrong but ask questions regarding the contract we were going to sign. TAKE MY ADVISE TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW THAT THEY MAY HAVE LOW PRICES BUT THERE IS A PRICE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THERE!!!!! I AM GLAD I DID NOT BUY A CAR THERE. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO FIND SOME NEW PEOPLE TO RUN THIS PLACE BECAUSE THEY ARE GOING TO RUIN THEIR BUSINESS. MIKE & Robert remember you always reap what you sow. & for what you did to my family GOD will make sure you get yours. More

Well my wife and I went down to Thrifty to purchase a used vechicle. We picked out a Nissan Armada. Very nice looking car. We took it on a very brief test drive, signed and drove away. Not even 3 miles u used vechicle. We picked out a Nissan Armada. Very nice looking car. We took it on a very brief test drive, signed and drove away. Not even 3 miles up the road the whole car just shot off completely. I flepped out and called A.J the service manager. He said we would get towed back within an hr. My wife and I sat there for over 2 1/2 hrs. We then took our old car back home and waited for it to get fixed. 2 days go by and no response. On the 3rd day we finally got the car back and it was all because of a fuse. WOW Im no mechanic but if it takes 3 days to find and replace a fuse then I dont really think they know what they are doing. Anyways, 1 week after we bought it the car starts smoking, I then pull over and check the oil, THE WHOLE CAR WAS WITHOUT OIL!!! AFTER JUST BEING IN THE SHOP!! The ORIGINAL oil filter was on there from 2004....you heard it right. So we then had it taken back again, mind you this is 27 miles 1 way from out house. They said it was changed and the oil filter was new. NOT THE CASE. So I went under the car and showed them the old oil filter and the fact that there was NO oil in it. He put oil in it and a new filter after 30min of arguing. 1 more week goes by and my wife is driving the car, the whole brkaes system goes out, she has to pull into the grass to slow down after almost hitting another car. I call thrifty and they have me on hold for almost an hour, Mike gets on the phone and insists on us having it towed to the shop. I tell them to have a tow truck come on their behalf because Im not paying for it. They then tow it to the dealership and they look it over for 4-5 hrs and they say it is not coding out on the system check so we think you are lying! I dont know who they got their customer services skills from but they need to learn a different way of treating people! I said ok if we are liars then since we had it "checked" and if I hit a car because of a brake failure then I will be placing a lawsuit against you. They didnt have a care in the world. 3days go by and Im driving it, the bakes go out again, I send the car to Tire Kingdom on Gunn Hwy in tampa,(very good place to do business:) They have it for 5 minutes and tell me the delta sensor in the ABS is bad and it will come to the tune of 1,100.00 to fix it. I call up Thrifty and they say well they must be lying, even through the mechanic was certified to work on Nissans and he just came there from a Nissan dealership. So I told them I will be talking to a lawyer to find out what my rights are. The lawyer says there is NO possible way of winning in court with these guys, they have an army of lawyers that will fight hard to win. I call up Mike and kindly ask him what is the best solution for the problem and he states, and I quote, "You have already talked to a lawyer, I have nothing else to say to you, you are not welcome to come here or ever do business with us again, ohh and have fun winning in court". Then he hung up on me. I tryed calling back 3 times and the lady who answers asks for my name and then hangs up on me as well. I really hope that my experience with this company helps people in understanding that this company is a real joke! If you are smart DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! I just hope that karma catches up on them and their business goes under like a sinking ship. Ohhh and Mike if you happen to come across this and read this....f@$k you!!! More
I would absolutely NOT recommend this dealership. While the prices they offered are fair, they sell TOTALED cars. I bought a car all the way back in 2007. When I bought the car, I ran a Carfax and it came the prices they offered are fair, they sell TOTALED cars. I bought a car all the way back in 2007. When I bought the car, I ran a Carfax and it came from another state (OR) Reported clean and never thought about why it was from another state. I then go to trade in my car about a week ago, it comes across with a salvage title on autocheck. Done some investigating and found that the car was "title washed." If you are not familiar with what it is, Google and you will see what I mean. Thrifty has deceiving got the car from an out of state auction and got a clean title from Florida. It ended up messing up the resale value of my car. Reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I heard no response. Look at their rating on the Better Business Bureau: D- More

Thrifty Car Sales, What can I say?...Well upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly group of various personnel. We were interviewed as to our financial capabilities and then were shown those vehicles t were greeted by a very friendly group of various personnel. We were interviewed as to our financial capabilities and then were shown those vehicles that would fit our budget. We were never pressured into buying something that we weren't happy with, we chose from many that were shown to us, we were allowed to take test drives of any vehicle that was of interest to us, then we were sat down and had a lengthy conversation with the sales representative that was handling our transaction. Within a very short period of time we had selected the vehicle of our choice at which point we were allowed to address any issues regarding the things that needed attention on the vehicle we had chosen. Absolutely everything that we addressed was fixed and made ready for us postwith. Over all it was the best vehicle purchase from a dealership that I have ever encountered and would recommend them to anyone knowing that whomever I sent their way would be totally happy. More
