Can highly recommend this dealer and their entire team! To put this into perspective for anybody who cares, I have professionally seen and visited over 70 % of all VW dealerships in the United States during my work days! More

There's a reason for the saying to never do business with family. Once you buy your car and out the door, that's it. I'm barely past 6 months into my Tiguan lease and my transmission became an issue after what their shop says isn't their responsibility or VW's... that it was PROBABLY a small rock that somehow made it's way into the transmission. So, of course, they're not liable for the cost. When trying to lease, you're told you're the leasee. Then somehow you're now the owner and liable for costs of a new car for a problem no one has a definitive answer for. We tried multiple times to explain our side and one wants to listen. Now we're paying a large sum of $$$ for something no one has an explanation as to why happened. How do we know this won't happen again due to some design flaw that allows rocks to make its way through front grills? I'll be liable again?! Transmission issues this soon and I'm paying for it? NO PROOF...yet MY PROBLEM?! Of course my warranty doesn't help...when does it ever when you need it most? What does a warranty cover anyway? Anyone interested in the Tiguan or Three County? Think twice. More
Poor experience My car battery of my Volkswagen Passat was dead after 2 years during my lease which is unheard of. I was set on replacing my battery from firestone bu My car battery of my Volkswagen Passat was dead after 2 years during my lease which is unheard of. I was set on replacing my battery from firestone but my sales guy Dino told me to go to their service department and they will "hook me up". After 2 hours at Firestone I left and went to volkswagen service to wait another 2 hours for the examination even though I told them the issue. After 2 hours they tell me they are quoting me the same exact price for the battery that firestone quoted me a few hours before and they considered that a "deal". After arguing with both the service and sales department I told them to give me my keys back and I was going to waste more of my time to go back to firestone because I didn't want to give them any business. Both my brother and myself have leased cars from this location. I told them not to contact me me again as my lease was going to end in less than a year. They have continuously tried to contact me to lease another car even after I wrote to management multiple times about my experience and to remove me from their distribution list. Never have I gotten a response or apology about my experience however they do try their best to push products. More
Best Prices for Parts and Service of all VW Dealerships! I have been to and have dealt with and have been to almost ever VW dealership in North Jersey. Three County VW has the best prices for service and par I have been to and have dealt with and have been to almost ever VW dealership in North Jersey. Three County VW has the best prices for service and parts hands down of any VW dealership I have been to in NJ and NY. The Service department is exceptional! The Parts department is exceptional! They provide loaner vehicles at no cost to you unlike some dealerships that want to rent you a car instead and they will absolutely work with you on pricing. This dealership is the first and only one that offered me the lowest possible price right up front. When I was quoted I already knew I stepped on a diamond. Same with the Parts Department. If you bring your business here you will never have to shop around again. It will cost you money to not deal with Three County. I can not tell them enough how much I appreciate them. I have just exceeded 140K miles on my TDI and doing everything that needs to be done to get another 140K Miles has been a pleasure. Whether you get the work done here or get the parts you need to do it yourself, you are not winning unless you are use Three County VW. More

However, none stand out for the exceptional As a loyal Volkswagen owner for decades, there have been many dealers of which I've serviced my vehicles. However, none stand out for the exceptional and efficient service provided at Three County Volkswagen in Lyndhurst. This dealership has demonstrated its ability time and time again to provide exceptional sales associates, friendly service staff and the best environment for an owner to experience! From start to finish, Three County delivers the best in quality customer service, always acknowledging their loyal customers and not treating them as another number on a list. Truly, this is the only dealership I trust with my vehicles and I recommend anyone who is looking for an honest and dependable place for their car to come here! More

Not Mr. Fix-Its............ Sat.7/4/15-My 2008 VW Passat 2.0T stalled while stopped at a light. Holiday weekend everything was closed, had car towed to my house. Mon. 7/6/15- I Sat.7/4/15-My 2008 VW Passat 2.0T stalled while stopped at a light. Holiday weekend everything was closed, had car towed to my house. Mon. 7/6/15- I had my car towed to a local mechanic, after two days the mechanic told me the problem was the computer steering column and I needed to take my car to a VW dealer. Weds.7/8/15-I had my car towed to 3 County VW in Lyndhurst, NJ On Fri. 7/10/15- the mechanic Matt calls to tell me nothing is wrong with my car. I explained to him how the car was “towed” there because I could not drive it and a local mechanic said it’s the computer steering. He advised me they drove my car for 20 miles and nothing is wrong with it. 7/10/15-I pick my car that evening. Tues. 7/14/15-On my way to work on my car stalls and completely shuts down on me in the middle of a busy intersection during morning rush hour. The car would not go into neutral so I could not push it to safety, I had to have a Police Officer come and wait with me while I had the car towed AGAIN back to the Lyndhurst dealer. I get a call later in the day that the problem is the computer in the steering column and they would need to order the part. Only after I complained of the obvious inconvenience and asked to speak with Service manager Leif before I was given a loaner. I picked up the loaner the same day. Thurs. 7/16/15-I received a call on saying the part was in and to drop off my spare key as they would need to reprogram both sets of keys once they replace the computer. Fri. 7/17/15-I drop off my spare key with a Sales agent as the service counter was closed. Over a week goes by before I get a call Fri. 7/24/15-Matt calls to say my car was ready to be picked up. I filled the loaner car up with gas and rush down to the dealer before they close at 6 to get my car. I paid over $1,000 I unloaded my personal belongings from the loaner into my “fixed” vehicle and I try the key(s). They do not work, the doors don’t open, the trunk does not open and the alarm does not sound. I walk back to the service tech Matt and let him know, he comes out and tries a few things, nothing happens he then informs me I would have to leave my car so they can fix and once again take the loaner. I unload my belongings from my vehicle back into the loaner and leave. Sat. 7/25/15-Matt calls to tell me the keys work, sort of. They open and close the doors and trunk but there is no alarm. They would have to diagnose it and if it’s the rear latches which he suspects, I would have to pay to have that fixed. Completely unacceptable, however Matt was not the decision maker and the shop was closing in 45 minutes so I advised Matt I would be there to pick up the car on Mon. Mon. 7/27/15- I called to speak with the Manager Leif and relayed my ordeal. He instructed he would see what was wrong with the rear latches and have the guys fix it at no cost to me. More
