He said "I'd be due for another oil change next year." JD couldn't have been nicer. I would recommend him to friends. Thank you for your service guys and gals at Thoroughbred. More

A month prior to this I changed the alternator in my van. so being we were literally at the light by thoroughbred Ford we drove it in. they said it would be Monday before they looked at it, fine. we got a call a few hours later telling us the alternator was bad. we said are you sure?? we were told it tested at 12 and the range was 13-15. so a few more hours pass and we get a call the van was done. we asked to keep the old alternator ! they said it would be $432 we paid, I promptly took the alternator back to where i purchased it and had it tested, IT PASSED!! I then went to another company to have it tested, IT PASSED AGAIN! upon returning to the dealership I asked for a printout of the test stating the alternator was bad..... uh, we do not do that. In order to appease me, they said we will take out our new alternator and put your old one in for free... oh really!! PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CARS HERE !! The SERVICE DEPT. IS SOOOOO DISHONEST!!! Mind you I am not your average female, I have been fixing cars since I was a kid. I know my way around an engine!! they treated me live I was some dumb housewife that knew nothing. I asked if they tested it while the car was running, if they tested the battery....ect, ect... PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! More

Awful Service Department - No Customer Service Our F-150 blew a spark plug on a Saturday and needed to be towed to the dealership. They told me best case, they could fix for $1,000 and would call Our F-150 blew a spark plug on a Saturday and needed to be towed to the dealership. They told me best case, they could fix for $1,000 and would call me Monday morning to advise. I left messages Monday for them and didn't get a call back. Monday evening went to the dealership to get a status and they couldn't tell me anything. Tuesday morning someone called to say it wouldn't start at all now and would be $5,000 to fix it. Told them not to fix it and I'd get it. They said they'd try to get it running and would call me back. Wednesday afternoon I had to call them and tell them I'd have it towed home. No one ever called me! On a different visit, I took my car for a battery replacement and they moved my car to the back lot and didn't work on it until I came back 2 hours later making a fuss because my car wasn't ready. They couldn't even find my car and had to search until they found it out back. Then I had to wait longer for them to install the battery. One other visit, I gave them warranty papers so they could fix my power seat and look at a warning light on the power train. They lost my warranty papers and tried to tell me I didn't have a warranty and would have to pay out of pocket for everything. I had to provide them with the warranty information again. Then they charged me an additional $125 diagnostic fee for looking at the Power Train warning light. They didn't find anything wrong with the power train, so they said the diagnostic fee was additional. I sure thought power train was covered up to 100k miles, so I think that's pretty stinky to charge people to look at something that's still under warranty. I wouldn't trust them for anything more than standard warranty work on a new vehicle. More
Poor Customer Service, No Accountability Took my 2008 Mustang there for the Takata air bag recall. After they replaced the air bag, they told me my battery was almost dead. I had them replace Took my 2008 Mustang there for the Takata air bag recall. After they replaced the air bag, they told me my battery was almost dead. I had them replace the battery for $150 and now the CD player keeps searching for CD's then gets an initialization error, every time I open the car door or after I start the car. I took the car back to them to repair the radio they damaged and they told me that the radio needed a new head, and they would call me on Monday when they checked with their management to see if the repair would be covered. It's been two weeks now and nobody called, so they basically broke my radio and won't take responsibility for it. Beware when dealing with Thorouhbred Ford, as they do not care about customer service and accepting responsibility for their actions. More
They suck! I scheduled my appointment two weeks ago for a vehicle recall. After having my vehicle for 10 hours already, my husband called and they said it won't I scheduled my appointment two weeks ago for a vehicle recall. After having my vehicle for 10 hours already, my husband called and they said it won't be getting fixed today. No one even bothered to call and tell us, which is pathetic since this was the fourth time he had spoken to the dealership today. The service department was even going to call us and we're just going to shut the doors and leave. It is unacceptable to not fix the vehicle within the 10 hours you have it and then not call to let the owner know! Had to pick up my vehicle that they've had since 8 am & have no choice but to schedule another appointment they likely won't care about. What was the point of making an appointment if my car wasn't going to be fixed today? EVERY SINGLE time I go in for a repair I have to go in 3 times just to get them to look at it. Their service department is horrible!!!!! More

Concerning the body shop: I got an initial call saying what they were fixing. I never heard from them again so finally I call them and they said it has been ready for days. I go there and find out they what they were fixing. I never heard from them again so finally I call them and they said it has been ready for days. I go there and find out they did all kinds of changes without asking. I notice right off a part is damaged but they assure me it isn't plus its the wrong color with the original being clear and the new one yellow. When you look in the mirror you see 3 of everything with a green haze around everything making everything blurry. One main problem is that when you roll up the window at 25% from the top it makes a scarping noise. There are 2 other issues that have to be fixed also. I complain to the insurance company and they agree to fix it and 2 other problems. One of the problems is they broke a piece of plastic but refuse to fix it and tell me they hope I don't need a new one because they are expensive. They tell me to wait for the new part. I don't hear anything so a week later I call and its been done for days. I go to pick up the vehicle and find out the part they replaced it with is the correct color but is all scratched and the wrong size. It is 1 inch too short and the glass inside is way too small . The window no longer makes a scraping noise when its 25% from being rolled up now it makes it as soon as you roll it up. I asked them what is up and they tell me they have fixed it all they are going to even though the parts have a one year warranty and lifetime on labor. I took a car into them that before it was wrecked was in perfect shape and now it has a scratched mirror that is the wrong size with a window that makes scraping sounds when you roll it up and there is nothing I can do about it. They charged me $187 for a salvage mirror assembly and a new one was $250. I really can't believe that for that price difference that they would risk an irritated customer. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. The feeling you get from them is like you might have just taken it to the rip-off body shop because that is the quality that you end up with. More
made an online appointment, left my truck there the night before. They didn't do the work on my truck and didn't call me to tell me they were behind. I called during my lunch break and was put on hold five before. They didn't do the work on my truck and didn't call me to tell me they were behind. I called during my lunch break and was put on hold five times before "Larry" was available to provide me an update. Even when I asked if there was someone else who could provide me an update, they said I could either wait on hold or call back. Take your car for service somewhere else. I would never buy a car here after the way I was treated. More
This dealership service Department does not back the products or service they provide. They installed very expensive highend Goodyear tires on our Ford Lightning Truck in 8/2010 (14000 miles ago). The products or service they provide. They installed very expensive highend Goodyear tires on our Ford Lightning Truck in 8/2010 (14000 miles ago). They charged full price for a tire made in 2004, 2006 and 2 from 2008. In November 2012 the 2004 tire went flat and was unfixable due to it splitting inside (old tire). Thoroughbred ford just sent us off to Goodyear to get a small credit from Goodyear, but no conessions what so ever from Thoroughbred for putting such old tires on our truck without telling us. We had to deal with Goodyear even though we bought tires from Thoroughbred. They wouldnt even put tire on without charging us. It was too bad sucker. This is second bad experience. Will not ever go here again nor will anyone we know. Who wants to buy a car at a dealership that has a service department like this. That do not care about customer satisfaction. Other reputable dealerships and tire dealers do not put tires on vehicles if the tire is over 2 years old. The KC Stareven had an article about this in todays paper in Automotive. Oh and by the way it took 3 weeks to even get the one new tire with the credit (1/3 off new price). More
