Needed motor sheild repair When I called for the appointment, I was told what it would cost if I needed the shield replaced. To my pleasant surprise, and the honesty of Thoroughbred Ford personnel, they only needed to use a couple of bolts to repair the damage I had done when catching the cover on a low curb. That sure beat what the cost would have been had they had to replace the whole thing. More
Customer service When wife went in to pick up her car. Was waiting in line to pick up vehicle and three of the service reps kept passing her to the next. First said he would be right with her when he got off the phone but when he was off he said the next one can help you (it's time for me to go home) was around 3:15. So the second one said be right with you an went into building an never returned. Third one said be right with you was on phone. The call took a while but finally got to her. More

Communication/Service Challenge From Manhattan, KS. Vehicle was parked at the KC airport during a two week trip. When we returned, the vehicle wouldn't start because of electrical pr From Manhattan, KS. Vehicle was parked at the KC airport during a two week trip. When we returned, the vehicle wouldn't start because of electrical problem. Towed to Thoroughbred Ford at 1:00 a.m. on March 6, 2019-- Had to find a hotel. Spoke with Nicholas Setter at 7:20 a.m. and was told they would have an answer midmorning. Heard nothing so called at 11:30. Nicholas told me I would hear by 1:30 p.m. - Heard nothing - Called at 2:15. Nicholas gave me a brief update but they weren't able to diagnose the problem. - In the mean time, we were still at the hotel - Asked Nicholas to let me know if it would be an extended stay.. if it was, we would need to arrange for alternative transportation home to Manhattan. Also asked him to simply clear the codes and reboot the system. (This had solved a similar problem a year ago) - Nicholas said he'd get back with me. Heard nothing - Called at 4:15 and left a message. No response so at 4:45 I hired an Uber to take me to the dealership. Upon arrival at the dealership, I found out that Nicholas HAD GONE HOME FOR THE DAY and our vehicle wasn't even in the shop. Was AMAZED to say the least that we had been left hanging all day and apparently were not going to find out anything else, despite repeated requests to Nicholas to keep us posted since we were from out of town and stuck at the hotel. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the way we were treated and basically forgotten --- NOW THE GOOD NEWS: Upon my arrival at the dealership via Uber, another service representative, (Nick Sherman) was extremely supportive, prompt and helpful. He got our vehicle in the shop, the codes reset and sent us on our way in less than 20 minutes. It was a nice recovery to an otherwise terrible situation. More

Scott Spencer at Thoroughbred Ford took care of me both times AND diagnosed BOTH problems correctly and quickly! No down time - which is important to me as I haul horses on a weekly basis!!
