I am writing to express my frustration with the service that I received at Thoroughbred Ford dealership's service department. On March 27th, 2023, I brought my Ford F150 2017 in for repairs, and unfort that I received at Thoroughbred Ford dealership's service department. On March 27th, 2023, I brought my Ford F150 2017 in for repairs, and unfortunately, the diagnosis provided by the service department was incorrect, leading to unnecessary repairs and expenses. I was contacted by service adviser Josh Delorier that the noise and vibration were coming from the front wheel bearing. I informed him the noise and vibration were coming from the back of the truck his reply was I'm going to get another tech to do a shakedown on the truck. The next day Josh called and said I needed the entire read-end differential rebuild and front wheel bearing I told him I would do the front bearing repair. I asked him are you positive because I had already had work done to the rear end, and he said yes. I agreed to have the work redone. I was called on April 3rd truck was ready for pick up when I arrived at the dealership, I asked to test drive my truck before I paid for the repairs. Josh and I drove the truck the problem wasn't fixed nothing had changed. I was asked to leave the truck there they were going to re-diagnose the problem. I was informed next day they plug the truck into a computer and determined it was a torque converter issue and repair would be $5100.00. I asked what about the rear-end charge that I was told was the issue the reply was it was bad also I already had the rear-end work done prior to taking it to the dealership. I believe this was unfair business I would like a full refund. More
His attitude is unprofessional and for a man “with 30 years experience” knows nothing. I did not get what I paid for and he couldn’t even explain what they did. I used to go to Thoroughbred off Barry rd. often for oil change, break job, tune up and other things. They did a good job until they worked on my Lincoln's air condition. They charged me $1200 often for oil change, break job, tune up and other things. They did a good job until they worked on my Lincoln's air condition. They charged me $1200 and it was not fixed. I was told a bad switch causing that and they want $300 to replace it. After replacing the switch, the AC still was not working. I returned to Thoroughbred and after they checked the car, I was told the AC Dryer is bad and they want $700 to fix it. This time I complained to this idiot called Mr. G and he did not do a xxxx thing to solve my issue More

I’ve purchased many vehicles from Thoroughbred, all new, all serviced there too. JD takes care of our cars the moment we hit the service driveway. I just text him to tell him when and he says yes! Nice location but the service was horrible! They said that the trim edging on the 2020 Edge ST was fixed with new clips. After waiting 2.15 hours for the fix and oil change, no sooner than when I got ho that the trim edging on the 2020 Edge ST was fixed with new clips. After waiting 2.15 hours for the fix and oil change, no sooner than when I got home, the molding was coming off again! They used 2 sided tape to slap it back on an expensive new SUV, only 7000 miles on it. There were no new clips applied as what was shared with me! I've called service twice to report the issue and after a few days no one has even called me back! I even left 2 voicemails for the services department, no return call. Poor service...I'm planning to call the owner this week. More
When I come to Thoroughbred I look for Drake, He's not to hard to miss. Very conscientious and when he sees someone standing at his counter he treats them like no on else exists. But If Thoroughbred needed management this kid is it, if he treats the techs and customers the same way I bet he is well respected. Had the car in for O-F-L and rotation car was also overheating, Drake checked with my warranty company and we found out that I was required to take it to the selling Ford dealer, UGH. I guess ya gotta live and learn. Well a week later and I still don't have my car back. I have a feeling I would have at least received an update from Thoroughbred. I am learning I should just buy from the ones that take care of ya after the sale in fine fashion. Keep up the great work Drake! More
