We are sorry that there was a delay in contacting you when the vehicle was finished. We had left a few messages at the phone number we had on the repair order, but did not have the opportunity to talk to anyone. Since this was an insurance repair on a 2004 vehicle, the insurance company dictates where the parts are bought. The electro-chromatic mirror with the yellow tint that you mention was the one that was called for according the information provided to us by the manufacturer. When you requested a different mirror, we did order one and install it in your vehicle. If that mirror is scratched we can order another one if you would like. I believe the broken plastic that you are talking about is the screw cap that we fixed for you, if not please let me know.
