Awful Service Department - No Customer Service Our F-150 blew a spark plug on a Saturday and needed to be towed to the dealership. They told me best case, they could fix for $1,000 and would call Our F-150 blew a spark plug on a Saturday and needed to be towed to the dealership. They told me best case, they could fix for $1,000 and would call me Monday morning to advise. I left messages Monday for them and didn't get a call back. Monday evening went to the dealership to get a status and they couldn't tell me anything. Tuesday morning someone called to say it wouldn't start at all now and would be $5,000 to fix it. Told them not to fix it and I'd get it. They said they'd try to get it running and would call me back. Wednesday afternoon I had to call them and tell them I'd have it towed home. No one ever called me! On a different visit, I took my car for a battery replacement and they moved my car to the back lot and didn't work on it until I came back 2 hours later making a fuss because my car wasn't ready. They couldn't even find my car and had to search until they found it out back. Then I had to wait longer for them to install the battery. One other visit, I gave them warranty papers so they could fix my power seat and look at a warning light on the power train. They lost my warranty papers and tried to tell me I didn't have a warranty and would have to pay out of pocket for everything. I had to provide them with the warranty information again. Then they charged me an additional $125 diagnostic fee for looking at the Power Train warning light. They didn't find anything wrong with the power train, so they said the diagnostic fee was additional. I sure thought power train was covered up to 100k miles, so I think that's pretty stinky to charge people to look at something that's still under warranty. I wouldn't trust them for anything more than standard warranty work on a new vehicle. More

I was not given the opportunity to even finish my sentence let alone even look a single car. I didn't even ask to go for a test drive. Salesman made no effort to qualify me. He just decided that no sale would be made today and started to tell me what they COULDN"T do. I got up and left in frustration. More
Terrible Treatment by Ryan in Finance and Kurt in Management I had a great experience in purchasing my car from Alfredo, he went above and beyond. I got frustrated after Ryan neglected to send my purchase co I had a great experience in purchasing my car from Alfredo, he went above and beyond. I got frustrated after Ryan neglected to send my purchase contract to my lender. This is no big deal, so I called to make sure they could send it. I called and asked for finance, got transferred to a voicemail. I called again and got transferred to a voicemail. I called a third time and was transferred to another voicemail. At this point, I grew frustrated. Finally, I was transferred to Ryan. He did not let me finish my story, kept interrupting me after I had asked to not be interrupted anymore, and said that it was my fault that the contract wasn't sent because 'he didn't know!' However, when we signed the paperwork with him, he tried to convince me to use Thoroughbred's lenders, and I said, "No, we'll be using my home bank. Alfredo said you could send them the contract and I can work it out with them from there." He did not apologize or take care of the problem until Alfredo called me back to help me. I also spoke to a manager Kurt, and told him that I was ready to just take the car back and forget the whole thing. I told him what happened and he said in a rude and dismissive voice, 'Sounds like you don't want me to do anything about it!" Not once did Ryan or Kurt offer to take care of the problem, which was MINOR. All Ryan should have done is say, "I'm sorry that I didn't get that to your lender. Let me take care of that for you now, " and I would have been happy. I also wonder if Ryan or Kurt would have treated my husband with a different level of respect. These two ruined my experience with Thoroughbred and I will not be purchasing a car from them again, and I would not recommend it to anyone. More
