I had a good report on my car as well. I was helped by Mike Taylor in the service department, who did an excellent job. More
Feel like an unwelcome pest in Service I bought two vehicles from Thoroughbred. No problems there, sales team do not "push" and get sales as a result. But I will not return. The service I bought two vehicles from Thoroughbred. No problems there, sales team do not "push" and get sales as a result. But I will not return. The service department front desk is terrible. I know it can be done better, my wife has a Honda. Take the Honda for service and the adviser makes eye contact quickly, lets me know I am welcome, and books me in as soon as possible. At Thoroughbred when I bring my truck in for service I feel like a peasant waiting for royalty to deign to notice me. Ten or more 'advisers' behind a desk, talking to each other, on the phone or looking at computers or phones - and not one looks up to make eye contact, to acknowledge my presence. IF I stand there patiently long enough eventually one will mutter "be with you soon" and then pick up the phone. This is true whether I have an appointment or not. And by the way, the waiting room is ugly and cramped. Check out the Toyota and Honda waiting rooms, then look at Ford. Like comparing airline business class to coach. To be fair, they have done good work for me when I have persevered and waited. The technicians and their work are decent and do a good job. I will not be back: I don't know why anyone goes there except out of habit or some sense that they have no choice. More
Harold Dorsey is the go to guy at thoroughbred Ford I began buying from Thoroughbred Ford because I was treated like family, Harold Dorsey knows how to listen, how to get you want you want and sometime I began buying from Thoroughbred Ford because I was treated like family, Harold Dorsey knows how to listen, how to get you want you want and sometimes even more than you wanted. I always send friends and family to Thoroughbred Ford and why not, it just makes sense. More

He not only helped me but work with me before the dealership to make a good deal. In order to do so I had to ask a lot of questions and Coach patiently answered all my emails and phone calls with everything I needed to know not only about the car but about the transaction, etc. He definitely made it happen and help me get the car that I wanted at the price I could afford. If you want to buy a car I definitely recommend Thoroughbred Ford and specially ask for Dave Galvan. Thanks Coach! More

New Car Purchase Bought a 2017 Platinum Expedition from Coach. Why? He wanted to help not just sell us a car. Never did we feel pushed. He dealt fairly on price, my trade, and a few touch ups we requested. Once the sale was done, he did not abandon us. Coach walked us through the entire process and made sure we were taking care of. My analogy-The Ritz experience. We talked to him about DVD player and windown tinting. He not only provided contact information but called them to let them know to expect our call. We have used on and they did a fantastic job. The financing was a great experience. Joe was our guy at the dealer. No strong arm, evil car finance guy tactics. He was professional and nice. The rest of the staff at the dealership-nice. They always opened the door and let us go first. Walking down the hallway they stepped back and let us go first. Always with a smile and pleasant greeting. What we have received from other dealers is an inconsistent experience. Leaves you not feeling good about the money you have spent. Not here. It started great with Coach and carried all the way through. We love our new ride! Thanks Coach and the team at Thoroughbred! More
BUYER BEWARE (FAKE PROMISES) Purchased a 2016 Ford Focus SE. I live 80 miles from this dealership. Told the tires would be changed to match what was on the vehicle, paint chip wou Purchased a 2016 Ford Focus SE. I live 80 miles from this dealership. Told the tires would be changed to match what was on the vehicle, paint chip would be fixed on door, and dealership would pay sales tax. Well, 1 out of 3 is terrible. They did change out the tires only after putting on Walmart specials. I had it in writing that they would replace with the exact or better tire. The did that but had to make another trip to do this. Paint has never been fixed and Sales tax seems to be whatever number they want to make up. Finance person is uneducated, unprofessional, and downright rude, Makes snide comments about crap that makes no sense and plays it off like I never heard it. BS. We love the car but fake promises from top down. Sales Manager is the only one that can and will make any type of decisions. He is a stand up guy! Last comment made by sales person was with much sarcasm. "We have bent over backwards for you". Last I checked that is what a sales force is to do in a very competitive marketplace. Told the dealership I had my own financing and they ran my credit anyway. NOT COOL! More
Killing it! I traveled a long hard road in search for a Raptor, that is until I found Mike Stadler here at Thoroughbred. I won’t go into detail about all my neg I traveled a long hard road in search for a Raptor, that is until I found Mike Stadler here at Thoroughbred. I won’t go into detail about all my negative experiences at other dealers, but suffice it to say I didn’t experience a single negative here. I live in San Antonio, Texas and the process to order my Raptor took a few months (as expected with a custom order), during that time communication was awesome, Mike would give me updates as to where we were throughout the process. Even though things had been great during the entire process I was still hesitant the day I boarded the plane to go pick up the truck (you know all the horror stories of dealers going back on their word, adding extra charges, etc). But I got there and everything was as advertised, no games, no BS, only the upmost in courtesy, respect, and friendliness (not just with Mike, but everyone I dealt with). Here I am the proud owner of my Raptor, had a great time with Thoroughbred, and would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle through them. I highly recommend them. More
2017 Raptor purchase was flawless! From start to finish Mike made the purchase of the (highly in demand) 17 Ford Raptor amazing. 100% transparency during the process. Answered all my questions and was fair with my trade in. I left with a smile on my face as I peeled rubber out of the dealership :-) I will make the 600 mile trip, from Denver again, when looking to purchase another vehicle! More
Bait and Switch I waited over a year for an airbag to become available as part of a recall. I finally get a letter saying the replacement part is in. I called Thoro I waited over a year for an airbag to become available as part of a recall. I finally get a letter saying the replacement part is in. I called Thoroughbred Ford (Alex or Troy, I don't remember) and scheduled an appointment and tell them what I need. The employee says no problem, we got the parts in and even joked that it had been a long time coming. I took my car in for repair. The employee (AJ) checks in my car and looks in the computer and says yep, you are all set for repair. The next day the employee (Nick Sherman) texts me to tell me they are out of the parts to fix the recall. Unbelievable. They said it was first come first serve. At no time did they tell me I had to drop everything and rush to the dealership to have the part that I have waited on for over a year put on. When I made the appointment and when I dropped off the car, something should have been said. When I made the appointment it should have reserved the part for me. Why would you make an appointment and take your car in if they don't have the part? It makes no sense. Then he tried to tell me my oil was so low it wasn't appearing on the dipstick. He then said the oil was black. How could he tell it was black if it wasn't showing on the dipstick? All lies! I had only driven 2000 miles since my last oil change. As soon as I left the dealership I checked it myself. It showed on the dipstick, wasn't low at all and wasn't black. I think they make appointments for the recalls knowing they don't have the parts and then try to talk you into other service. Bait and switch! I also talked to another employee, George O'Sullivan, who must be the "put out the fire guy", because I was told he didn't have a title. He admitted they hadn't handled things correctly. I was then offered an oil change, which I didn't need! At this point I'm so mad, I wouldn't let these people touch my car. I wouldn't let them work on a Pinto! There are other dealerships in the area that will be glad to have our business and treat us fairly. They really need to take another look at their policies and how they treat their customers. They need to train their employees what customer service is. I recommend you go to any of the surrounding dealerships and avoid Thoroughbred Ford. More
