For the past 26 years, I have purchased three cars from either private parties or Carmax, because of the bad experiences I had at all three Sacramento Toyota dealers (Roseville, Folsom, Maita). When I called Cooper about the truck that was on Thompsons Toyota's website, I thought he sounded "nice," "down-to-earth," and "kinda funny." We talked prices and such, but I never really believed any of it until I took the drive to meet him and check out the new truck I had been looking for. I was so used to getting sucked into the game of just "getting a body to the dealer" that I had my guard up. Let me just say that when I met Cooper and his partner, Tony, I was immediately impressed with their personalities and quickly felt comfortable with them. Cooper did not deviate from the deal on the phone and was such a breath of fresh air to work with. I never felt pressured, ridiculed, or disrespected. Cooper is the best and I will always remember the experience. Not only did he make me feel comfortable, the interior of the place was equally homey and included a nice variety of complimentary snacks and drinks that were easily accessible.
