Typical shady car dealer tactics. They leave fake below market value priced listings up on autotrader and their website to draw in traffic and then try and switch you to another car. They leave fake below market value priced listings up on autotrader and their website to draw in traffic and then try and switch you to another car. REPLY TO BUSINESSES REPLY: Apologies without behavioral modifications are just manipulations. Stop scamming people with shady tactics, and why don't you tell the full story instead of replying and trying to make it look like you guys don't do what you did, and its all just a big "misunderstanding". It's not just third party sites, it is on your own site also. It's also your lying employees. They DID NOT tell me it was sold when they wrote to me LATE Saturday night after business hours! But amazingly, when you finally opened today, it was sold days ago after you were closed for 2 days after I wasn't told it was sold in my initial correspondences? xx! You want to leave the listing up until it is delivered? Fine, I can understand that....but inform other potential buyers of that vehicle that it has a deposit on it or is pending a deal. I was in the car business for years and would ALWAYS Inform a customer if there was a pending deal on a certain car, why wouldn't you? Oh right, because that's a lie. Call the manager? Why? So he can try and feed me the same nonsense that you are telling me now? No thanks. Here is the email I sent to the guy who was writing to me today and told me that the car I wanted was sold on Saturday: "I was speaking to someone else on Saturday night about the Accord, another BD guy over at your place, and he never said it was sold then. I wanted to come in and buy the car the next morning but he told me that you were closed until Tuesday. I went on your website trying to buy it and leave a deposit but all I could do was place an "order" for it, whatever that actually means. Apparently it doesn't mean xxxx because it allowed me to "order" a "sold" car. (actually your fake listing) Now all of a sudden on Tuesday morning after you were closed for 2 days, it sold on Saturday. It doesn't make sense. If it makes sense to you, then the systems in place at your dealership suck and are inefficient and frustrating to the customer. Maybe you or the powers that be over there don't care about that." THOMPSON DETAIL CENTER I have a Lexus RX 350 SUV that suffered a dent of its right fender after being parked in a supermarket parking lot. Perp did not leave a note and security cameras did not capture suffered a dent of its right fender after being parked in a supermarket parking lot. Perp did not leave a note and security cameras did not capture the incident. I was hoping paintless dent repair (PDR) could be performed, knowing that the dent being placed at the crease of the aluminum fender would make for a challenging repair. I learned that a master technician named John at Thompson Detail Center at 450 N Broad Street in Doylestown was a true expert in PDR. One should be aware that this Center performs many more services than detailing, including wheel protection and restoration, PDR, scratch & dent repair, Paint Protection Film, Window Film Tints, Ceramic Coat, and more. I stopped by the Center, and John assessed the damage and provided me a very reasonable quote for the job. I dropped off this SUV the following week for the PDR to be performed. When I returned to pick it up, I was massively impressed with the quality of John's work. Both to the eye and upon feel, the fender looks like it did right out of the factory (please see the photos). I realized I had made the best choice possible by having this tech perform his craft. I will be very happy to refer family members and friends to John and Thompson Detail Center. More
On 02/02/2022, I brought my 2016 Lexus RX350 for vast engine oil leak diagnose. John was the service consultant at the time. After about an hour later John informed me that the oil leak from the timing engine oil leak diagnose. John was the service consultant at the time. After about an hour later John informed me that the oil leak from the timing chain cover as I already knew from my own research and inspection of the leak. He also quoted me that it would cost over $7,000.00 plus tax to replace timing chain cover. According to my research, it costs around $3,000 to replace the timing chain cover. My car has only 54,000 miles on it and based on the evidence of the oil leak itself, ones can tell that it has been leaking for a long time at least 6 months to 2 years prior to my discovery of the oil leak in mid January of 2022. The old oil stains and old dirt debris collected all over the left hand side of engine starting from the timing chain cover. The reason I did not find out the leak right away because over the past two years, I have barely used this car to go any where at all due to Covid. Second, I have it parked on my lawn all the time that why I could not see the oil drops right away. Third, I put my trust on Toyota and Lexus products too much that I did not inspect for oil leak over the past two years. I told John that at the time of the oil leak, my car was still under powertrain warranty and the mileage is still under powertrain warranty, but John refused to listen to me and wanted me to pay over $7,000.00 out of my pocket. After contacted Lexus manufacture several times about this oil leak and the cost to have it fixed, Lexus told me that Thompson Lexus quoted them $1,400 for parts and $1,800 for labor which was far difference from what they quoted me earlier. Last August, I brought my 2008 Lexus RX 400H for computer reset due auxiliary battery was completely drained due power shortage from rain water leaking in the moon roof channels due to water channel clogs. Prior to a heavy rain there was no problem at all. Everything on this car functioned normally. After I recharged and installed the auxiliary battery, I was able to start and drive as normal. Thompson Lexus diagnosed the car and informed me that my antilock brake computer was malfunctioned and needed to be replaced and it costed $2,300 for the part plus labor. I knew already knew that nothing was wrong with my antilock brake computer, so I refused to the service and brought the car home and troubleshoot by myself. All I needed to do was to reset the computer and clear the codes using a scanner. This car has not had any problem ever since. So, this dealership is not a good place to do business with. The service people are not honest and wanted to rip off unsuspected and not knowledgeable customers. For me, I know a lot about cars, so dishonest people cannot take advantages of me easily. From now on, I will never bring my cars to any Thompson Lexus locations for service because of their dishonesty and unreasonable over charge service fees. More

Peter Chan was not a "sales-person" but more like an advisor in guiding us to the right Lexus for us. He was professional and understood and met our needs. Can't thank him enough in helping us find the advisor in guiding us to the right Lexus for us. He was professional and understood and met our needs. Can't thank him enough in helping us find the right car. Very helpful and a pleasant car buying experience. Thompson Lexus welcomed us customers (like friends) and built trust from the moment we walked into the dealership until we drove away in a new Lexus RX, we were treated like old friends with both professional and courteous service.
