I don't know about other salesman at Thompson but Frank was a star. I bought a new Sonata from him in July and have had zero problems with it and he still helps me as if I was a potential customer. This dealer went above and beyond my expectations of purchasing a new car. After test driving several cars from different dealerships Chris and Kathleen made it very easy for me to purchase my new vehic purchasing a new car. After securing my deal, this dealer delivered my new car to my home in Montgomery County MD (1 hour from the dealership). Along with the business manager Kathleen who brought all necessary documents so I could finace my new car. I currently own a 2007 Hyundai Sonata SE and I made the best decision by purchasing my Hyundai from Thompson Hyundai. My recent purchase of my new 2013 Hyundai Sonata was much unexpected...I wanted to trade in my old Sonata for a personal reason. I didn't think twice where to go, although I purchased my 2010 Sonata from the unexpected...I wanted to trade in my old Sonata for a personal reason. I didn't think twice where to go, although I purchased my 2010 Sonata from the local Antwerpen Hyundai, I have been getting my car serviced at Thompson dealership in Dundalk for years. I have never dealt with the Sales department before, but had a real good experience. I walked through the door and meet my sales guy Matt Wells, very professional and nice. I explained to Matt my situation for trading in my vehicle and my price range. When I returned later that evening after receiving a phone call from Matt letting me know they would be able to work a deal me, I was able to pick out my car. The whole process took a couple of hours, it was late and I also had my two young daughter's with me at the dealership until closing, which everyone was really nice about taking turns entertaining my girls while I finished up. After picking my car out...I was introduced to Kathleen Walsh in financing. She was very helpful and nice. My girls loved her! Mr. Barry Woflsheimer, the sales manager also went out of his way for us...very nice and sweet! I had to return to Thompson Hyndai the following Saturday to turn in some additional information, Matt was so nice to set up and showed me how use all the bells and whistles to my new Sonata, while Kathleen, again entertained by girls. I am very satisfied by the customer service I received from Matt,Barry and Kathleen. I will definitely recommend Thompson Hyundai as the go to dealership!! If it hadn't been for the time crunch I was in I would never had bought a car from this dealership mainly because of BARRY WOLFSHEIMER. I was financing this vehicle through my credit union and in ord never had bought a car from this dealership mainly because of BARRY WOLFSHEIMER. I was financing this vehicle through my credit union and in order to do so I had to go through a certain company who directed me to Thompson Hyuandai. My husband and I were looking to buy a base model accent sedan. The problem came when they didn't have the base models available so they were quoting me a price with the upgraded package. I told them I could not afford that and that I wanted the base model car. They said they didn't want to get the base model from another dealership because they would loose out on money and that they were not sure if there was even a base model available because of the popularity of the car. So as the salesman left me again I got on my phone to call another dealership closer, just to see if there was base models available and to see if we could look at it to make sure that we were in fact sure we wanted to go with the base model. We were not planning on buying the car at the other dealership. BARRY came into the office yelling at me because I was on the phone with another dealership and telling me that I was disrespectful for calling another dealership. He was rude and condescending. After I explained my situation he offered to get a car from another dealership and quoted me a price that was equivalent to kelly blue book and edmunds and carsdirect. He stated that they were losing money on this car and weren't making anything off of it, which I know is a lie because they wouldn't sell it making no money, Later on as we were waiting for the finance department. I had this certificate from this banks program we were going through (the program that referred us to this dealership) (the basis of this program is that by going through them you are supposed to get the fair price on a vehicle without haggling) on the back of this certificate there was a space for the sales manager to sign basically saying that they are giving you the fair price for the vehicle and if not they would correct it. Well, BARRY loudly in front of everyone said and I quote I am not signing this, I have never seen this before this is just the company's way of charging us more fees for recommending us (which was not true) He than laughing at me started showing it to all the other salesmen telling them what I was asking him to do (which I was just following the directions from this referring company) He made me feel so belittled. BARRY did end up giving us an ok price but it was the ignorant and condecending way he spoke to his customers and the way he treated us that makes me regret buying a car from this dealership. Looking back I wish I would have just walked out the first time he started yelling at me. And thinking back I could have gotten a Mazda 3 for almost the same price at another dealership with the incentives they were offering. Lesson Learned Our salesman Chris was very friendly and even had our flat tire fixed on the car we drove to the dealership at no charge to us. The only thing was I felt at times the answers to my questions didn't make sense. But he did convince me I was getting a good deal and when all is said and done that was the most important to me. I did wish he had been a little clearer on how setting up the car ins worked because I was under the impression that they set it up while we were there buying the car. FYI: We waited a total of 6.5-7 hours on a sat in buying this car. (Which was not Chris's fault) There were a lot of other negative little things that I wanted to add but this is starting to turn into a novel. The bottom line is BARRY needs a serious lesson in customer service. As long as BARRY is employed with this dealership I will NEVER buy another car from them again!! More

Kathleen and Sam made me feel welcomed and right at home. I have purchased 3 other cars in the past and have come to the conclusion that all dearles lie to get the most money out of you. I also went to another Hyundia dealer before going to Thompsons and received all lies. Once I arrived at Thompsons I felt some comfortable. I told Sam what I was looking for and the price range I wanted to stay. Not only did they have the correct model and color in stock, the car was priced right in my range. Once I got to finance and met with Kathleen (a wonderful person) she never lied or back peddled about anything. She was straight forward and honest about pricing, and now today I am a very happy and satisfied customer driving a brand new 2012 Hyundai Sonota. Thank you Sam and Kathleen. More
