Great customer service From the moment I walked in the door everyone was really friendly. I knew going in exactly want I wanted and the budget I wanted to stay at. James did not push me to see anything over budget, which was great because I have been to other dealerships who quickly like to take you to the most expensive car, which is a waste of time for everyone involved. Helpful, but we couldn't meet where we needed. Over the past week I had worked with Bryan extensively to try and get me in the car I wanted. Sadly, We tried really hard to get me into the car I wan Over the past week I had worked with Bryan extensively to try and get me in the car I wanted. Sadly, We tried really hard to get me into the car I wanted, but we couldn't really make it happen. While Brian was very helpful in trying to get me in the car. It just wasn't happening. The main problem here was the dealership and the lack of transparency. I come in looking at the holiday prices on the website which are very deceptive, unless you are a veteran college grad who drives for Uber. So I'm looking at a 17k dollar car, and next thing I know we are talking in mid 20k mark with little to no features. After discussing what I wanted my payments to be around and how I couldn't go past 60 payments or my financing would be higher and how much i had to throw down, we negotiated a lower price, but it just wasn't gonna work. I was really hoping to end my search for a car here at Thompson Hyundai, drive away with a new car before Christmas and hopefully make Brian a sale. Ultimately, it was a no go. Less to do with Brian and more to do with the dealership. They also pretty much hold back on the free tv advertised with discounts on the car without making it apparent upfront. All the deception aside and the aggressive (I mean that in a good way) sales manager above Brian, I still recommend this dealership. Brian was very good about taking his time explaining the features of the car and the math behind the sale and where we could or couldn't meet. He also provided me and my mother with beverages and held the door for us. More
