I shopped around extensively on Edmonds, local dealerships, US News, etc. and ended up traveling 70 minutes to use Thomas Nissan because their prices were the most competitive available, and I lov dealerships, US News, etc. and ended up traveling 70 minutes to use Thomas Nissan because their prices were the most competitive available, and I loved the "no haggle," set price concept although I was skeptical about hidden costs. They also include a life-time, Powertrain warranty which is not common. The sales team I worked with (Wayne and Al) was outstanding and delivered everything they promised. No hidden prices, no surprises. The cost was exactly what they said it would be. Wayne answered many of my questions before I arrived which made things even easier. They were responsive, professional and knowledgeable about their cars and I would highly recommend them. I was equally impressed with Steve in the financing department who did a great job of helping me understand financing options and take advantage of all of the available rebates and there were several! This is probably the best car shopping experience I have ever had. More
I did a lot of research on line and I like the concept of no haggle. I once bought a new car and haggled for hours. It was the most unpleasant experience of my life. Anyway after researching I found this dealer in Joliet and I saw the car I wanted and the price was exceptional compared to other dealers, even the no haggle places. My daughter and I drove over and David Manchen greeted us at the door. I explained I wanted to test drive the Nissan Versa I saw online. He got the key and we got into the car and went for the test drive. While driving David was exceptionally nice and informative. We talked about the car and the whole car buying experience. He went over details of the car and he explained the no haggle policy. I decided I really liked the car. It was a smooth ride and it just felt right to me. I let him know we had a deal. We went in to start on the paper/computer work. There is one thing I did not like. I already said I would buy the car and the paperwork was started but another salesman came in and said another couple wanted a test drive. I informed him I was buying the car but apparently Sal told him until it was final the couple could test drive it. I was not too happy about that. If a car is sold it should not be test driven by someone else. After David finished his work it was time for financing. That took a long time. It took longer than I liked. We waited a couple hours for this but in the end they found a great rate for a used car. I was very pleased. The rate was less than my credit union at work. This is the way car buying should be. I would highly recommend this place. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Since the sales people get a salary and not commission you don't feel like you are being cheated because the salesman wants more money. More
I came to the dealership to service my Nissan Rogue. While waiting for the service to be completed I was looking at the new cars. Phil approached me and offered me a cup of coffee. We struck up a conversation and I told him that I always wanted a Juke but they came out with it a year after I bought the Rogue. I asked if I could test drive a Juke and we went for a ride. Phil was very informative about all of the features and answered all my questions. Needless to say I loved the Juke. I like the no hassle for price and we struck a deal. From the Service Dept rep to Phil to my visit with Al in the business office, I could not have been more satisfied. Thank you Thomas Nissan for a very comfortable new car experience. More
After a long day of test driving many vehicles. We ended up at Thomas Nissan, Which a friend from work raved about. My friend Jennie told me that her boyfriend had bought a vehicle from this place in Jolie up at Thomas Nissan, Which a friend from work raved about. My friend Jennie told me that her boyfriend had bought a vehicle from this place in Joliet that they both were so pleased with and never heard of a dealership not taking any commission. Honestly, I haven't either. She gave me a card with the address and the name of the dealership. I researched it online and it seemed like the car I was interested in was very well priced. We called to come out and take a test drive but before we even left, it had been sold. It was very disappointing to say the least. So, my husband and I decided to test drive cars in the area. But, none of the places we went had the car we wanted. We then decided to go to Joliet to at least test drive the one we wanted to buy. It was a used car. A Nissan versa hatchback. It's funny how no other place we went had a used versa hatchback that was priced well. To make a long story short we didn't care for the car we thought we wanted. Not enough room in the back. So, we went on looking for a different car. Bigger then the versa. We knew we wanted a Nissan because they have one of the best warranty's out there. When we got there we asked for Matt and he and everyone there were so pleasant and informative. We felt right at home and very comfortable. We took yet another test drive in a 2012 Nissan rogue and fell in love with it. They even took it off the showroom floor just for the test drive not knowing if we were going to even buy the car! That impressed me. Well we drove it around and fell in love with the car and right away We knew it was for us. We ended up buying it ! All in all we had a very pleasant experience with the whole process. I honestly could never say that about buying a car before. They we more like frustrating experiences. Not this time though. Maybe it's because of the no haggle pricing. Every dealership should do the same as Thomas Nissan. I highly recommend this place to everyone!! I think everyone there had a good time as well! Had a great experience. We were looking specifically for a new or used nissan versa hatchback and Matt graciously walked us around the lot to see the different models and the used cars. We were in the market to replace our 2003 Altima. Had the car in last year for work, liked the dealership. Went over to check out models and prices. It was a no hassle experience. First and foremost was the price with no hassle. Second the sales help of Ruperto and Phillip. Even as talking to them and finding out they are fairly new they were so much help. I would have pruchased my car anyway but with thier help it was sooner and smoother. Even after I had the car for a few days Ruperto called and emailed me to see if everything was ok with the car. Can't forget the lifetime warranty, I plan to own my Rogue for a long time, hope I won't use it but I know its there if anything happens. One last thing, thanks to all for there help in getting the right car because I LOVE MY ROGUE!!!! More
