As a recent college graduate (female) I have been finding the car process pretty intimidating and although I have a good credit score I was having a hard time finding a dealer that would approve a loan with the car process pretty intimidating and although I have a good credit score I was having a hard time finding a dealer that would approve a loan with no co-signer and at a low interest rate. Keep in mind I am very picky and had a specific set of criteria in mind: low mileage, only a couple years used, nice looking on the inside and out and most importantly reliable, safe and good on gas mileage all for a decent price. As soon as I walked in they were able to point me in the right direction with no pressure to buy and took the time to make the car work for me. They were very patient and I can honestly say that they were there to make me a satisfied customer and not to make sure that they locked in a deal on their end. Matt and Steve were great! Very friendly and offered me advice as if I was part of their family and not just looking to make a deal with a client. They also took the time to go through the contract and explain exactly what each step meant in detail. And the best part is that they took me seriously! I honestly think they treat customers of all ages/class with the same respect and professionalism. Thanks Matt and Steve! More

I recently purchased a Nissan Sentra from Thomas Nissan of Joliet and I am very happy with the vehicle. It was a great, stress-free experience from beginning to end. We contacted the dealership via a form on Cars.com after seeing an ad for an FJ Cruiser. It was 10pm on Thursday night and I got a response back by 10:30pm from William Sammauro! The next day I emailed back seeing an ad for an FJ Cruiser. It was 10pm on Thursday night and I got a response back by 10:30pm from William Sammauro! The next day I emailed back and forth with William a few times to get more information. My wife called him asking about the condition of the vehicle and he actually walked out to the lot and walked around it describing it and the flaws he was able to find. We drive up (90 miles from our home) that night and met with William. He was very friendly and professional. We were able to work out a deal for my trade in and get financing that was better than the pre-approval I got from my own bank of 25 years. Within 2 hours we had test driven the Toyota, traded in my car, got great financing, and drove my FJ Cruiser off the lot and back to Bloomington. I liked the no haggling philosophy of the dealership, and know from researching other FJ Cruisers within 100 miles of my home that we got a very good deal. What really made us decide to make the trip was the "Warranty Forever" Thomas Nissan offered on the car. It is a lifetime engine and powertrain warranty for as long as I own the car. If anything goes wrong I simply have to take it to a certified ASE mechanic and have it repaired, free of charge. All in all a great experience, and I would recommend Thomas Nissan and William Sammauro to anyone looking shopping for a car, even if you have to drive a ways. Ben More
OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE from the moment I arrived at this dealership!! I was greeted by Jose Barrera when I arrived,told him I was interested in a new Rogue and had already looked it over on the Thoma this dealership!! I was greeted by Jose Barrera when I arrived,told him I was interested in a new Rogue and had already looked it over on the Thomas website and walked their lot the previous Sunday. Jose got the keys and fully explained the standard features and options of the Rogue. Next step was a test drive.I thought we would go around the block a few times but Jose wanted me to not only experience the vehicle on city streets but take it out on the highway which we did.Turned out to be about a 12 mile test drive,more than I expected and appreciated! Back at the dealership Jose showed me their entire inventory of Rogue's with the "SL" package so I could choose the color and interior I preferred. Only took a few minutes to make my decision. Jose than introduced me to Sal Luca who would be appraising my trade. I told Sal I was very happy with the dealership markdown price from the MSRP and there would be no need to "haggle" over the price of the Rogue but we may have to deal a bit on what I'm offered for my trade. I explained to Sal I was aware of the blue book trade and retail of my trade and had no problem with Thomas making a bit of profit on my trade but I wasn't going to give them all of it. Sal asked me what I expected and I gave him my price. As Sal went out to look over my trade-in, Jose offered me something to drink and we went into his office so he could start taking down some of my personal information. It only took about 15 minutes and Sal came in and handed me a paper with my asking price circled on it and asked "am I buying a car today"? I said let's get the paper work started! Thank you Sal...100% hassle free!!! Jose introduced me to Al that would be taking care of the paper work and explained all my financing options. Boom!! once again...hassle free!! Thank you Al for making it all easy! Jose has contacted me twice during my first week of owning my new Nissan to insure I was happy with the vehicle , ask if I had any questions and to insure I was satisfied with not only his customer service but that of the entire Thomas staff I dealt with. Over the last 35 years I have purchased 8 new cars and have never experienced such a "hassle free" high level of customer service as I received from Jose and the entire Thomas Nissan staff!! I contacted Thomas Nissan regarding a 2005 Ford ranger that they had for sale. I dealt with Chris Barrera. The reason I was interested in this vehicle was due to the low mileage. We stated discussing a time to test drive the vehicle and the only time I could come in was a Thursday. This was Chris's day off. He decided to come in on his day off to complete the process. (Dedication!) After a quick test drive I decided to purchase this truck. After the loan documents were signed Chris went to gas up the truck for me. There was a problem with a broken gas cap. The service department immediately ordered a new gas cap for me. They got it in about an about an hour and I was on my way. I ended up leaving my garage door opener in the vehicle I traded in. Contacted Chris he offered to personally drop it off at my job. That is truly great service. More
