fantastic Went on line to find Rogue's within a 100 mile radius of Clinton, Iowa. Found several in Chicagoland area. Drove 2 hours to start the proces by stopping at Thomas Nissan in Joliet, first, never found a reason to leave. Was introduced to my sales person, Javier Rodriguez. Very polite, listened to what I wanted and asked appropriate questions based on my needs as well as budget. Took test drive and was directed to Interstate system by Javier so as to experience some of the features. On return, looked at a couple other Nissan's he suggested with different features that were still in my budget. Javier provided common sense thoughts on the different features and vehicles with no specific outline toward one vehicle or another (no pressure, it was clearly my decision to make) , very knowledgable. Made decision in less than 30 minutes, most importantly, felt absoulutely zero pressure to buy. Went into the finance office and completed paperwork with a gentleman I can't remember but nonetheless was also polite and efficient, spent 2 seconds asking about extended warranties which I've never bought, and respectfully declined, he moved on to the business at hand, noting if I change my mind later, not a problem (NO SALES PITCH OR PRESSURE AT ALL, AGAIN AMAZING). I've bought new cars every 2 or 3 years for the last 30 years, never had that experience. Only received 1 set of keys (other to be shipped), being the nervous person I am, called dealership next day and spoke to Mitch Tomey, expressed my concern for the inevitablity of me locking keys in car, he took my number and said he would do some checking and call back which in my world, means, sold you the car, I don't have time to look for a second set of keys. 10 minutes later (unheard of in my world), called me back, said he found them, apologized (not needed) and assured me he would personally see that the keys would be sent out asap. Amazing, the timeliness of the response, even though I didn't buy an overly expensive car. The initial treatment by Javier and the followup by Mitch was fantastic. More customer service given in few minutes, then what most dealerships provide over the duration of sale and later service. The 2 hour drive time was well worth it, and more, for the service and product I received. More

Beware I called to schedule an oil change. I was quoted a price of $19.95. When the service was completed my bill was $42.42. Why? Apparently the labor is a I called to schedule an oil change. Isn't if fair to assume that the cost of an oil change would include someone to actually change the oil? This is not our first failed experience with this dealer but it will be our last. More
Resourcefulness I went into the dealership with a 50-50 feeling of trading in for a newer car. When I met with Matt Richards and shared with him my interests, he pre I went into the dealership with a 50-50 feeling of trading in for a newer car. When I met with Matt Richards and shared with him my interests, he presented me with several options....another Versa or a pre-certified used loaded Sentra, among other options. When we couldn't find the payment we wanted on the pre-owned Sentra, he suggested a 2016 Sentra, maybe not as loaded as the pre-owned one. (It had many more options than I wanted). Well, the new Sentra was just what I wanted, and Matt made it work. We left with the 2016 Sentra and traded in the old Versa and had a smile on our faces. Matt was very pleasant to deal with , and I felt like he had my best interests in mind. Great dealership...and you may guess by my 5 previously purchased Nissans, which were all purchased at Thomas Nissan. More
