Dear took a $500 deposit from me and then sold the vehicle to someone else! It was my dream car that I had wanted for 17 years in the exact color that I wanted! Saturn Sky. I cried when they sold it o vehicle to someone else! It was my dream car that I had wanted for 17 years in the exact color that I wanted! Saturn Sky. I cried when they sold it out from under me.I talked to a finance manager named Tom I believe and I had asked about having the car delivered and doing two trade ins. He didn't want to do that and I asked him twice if I drove the two trade ins up there if that would work and he never answered me. The car was sold to someone else while I was still working with the sales person and still had the deposit down. I could have put the car on my credit cards since it was too old to finance but the guy didn't even answer my questions he just jumped the gun and sold it before refunding my deposit or letting me try alternative ways to work out the deal. It burned the sales person too of a day of work on what would have been a sure commission. I had not driven up the day before because the sales person said they had a lot of snow and the car was a convertible so not to safe to drive 5 hours home. Went in to test drive this 2015 Kia Optima EX after seeing it on their website. The car drove well, however, all of the amenities listed on the website that came with the vehicle weren't there. The listing stated the vehicle had heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel and heated side mirrors, but it didn't have any of these features. When I asked the salesman about it, he said that the computer generated those options when the VIN number was entered. So, I guess they didn't bother to actually verify that it did ? That's very misleading and we left disappointed. The salesman was friendly, though, not responsive to emails I've sent him inquiring about costs. More
Brought my car in for nomal maintenace. Service was quick and easy. They had me in and out in no time. Always a pleasure coming here. The new lounge area is super nice too! Brought in 2016 Kia soul with 6 speed automatic transmission, problem with shifting and engine speed where it would rev to 4000+ during gear changes. Also had oil warning light flashing at idle aft transmission, problem with shifting and engine speed where it would rev to 4000+ during gear changes. Also had oil warning light flashing at idle after stopping at lights, or slowing down quickly. Oil level was full. After 4 hours, Thomas tech claimed they couldn't really see any shifting issues and did not see the oil light flashing at all. Paid $185 to "reset the transmission valve settings" Drove away from the dealership and at the first stoplight, the oil light came on just like before. Drove back, parked in front of the service doors and requested that they have the tech come and look, and was told they will not do that and that we would have to leave the car overnight and they could look again tomorrow. We did not do that and will not be returning to Thomas Kia. Thank you. More
