Didn’t fix the problem My car was having problems accelerating beyond 20 mpg, I took it to a mechanic who said the fuel pump part was defective, so as it was repaired at the My car was having problems accelerating beyond 20 mpg, I took it to a mechanic who said the fuel pump part was defective, so as it was repaired at the dealership I had no choice but to take it back there, as they did the original repair on the fuel pump and “ stand by their repairs “. They looked it over and of coarse found nothing wrong, as I knew they would. I will be returning to the mechanic to make sure that they didn’t mess with the car, as I don’t trust this dealership at all. This mechanic also told me that the car is not safe to drive and that the fuel pump I paid for was covered under the warranty they gave me and that I should call an attorney to get my money back for the original fuel pump which was $780. More
