Janelle was outstanding! ! The car we inquired about ahead of time was waiting for us to test drive ! The safety features we wanted were verified and gone over before our test ! I had a terrible experience at Thomas Kia In Highland. The service was non-existent, and the communication was abysmal. I was without my vehicle for most of the day and the problem was not solved. They said there was a recall that might be the cause of the problem but they did not have the key to fix it. They knew the issue prior to my appointment and should not have wasted my day. The person checking me in was great. Everything went south from there. From nonresponse to inquiries to damaging my interior. Their excuse was being understaffed. The poor service goes far beyond that. I would not recommend this dealership. More
Do not buy a car from Thomas Kia. I just had the worst experience I've ever had in a car dealership. I checked their inventory and identified the Sportage I wanted to test drive, I cl I just had the worst experience I've ever had in a car dealership. I checked their inventory and identified the Sportage I wanted to test drive, I clicked the button to check availability and it confirmed it was available. I was skeptical, but I "scheduled" a VIP test drive appointment at 5 the next day. I received a voicemail from a woman that said she looked forward to seeing me tomorrow for my test drive. When I arrived, the woman wasn't there, but another young man said he would be happy to help. I identified the car I wanted to see, and after 15 minutes of looking around the lot he said it wasn't here. No problem he said, you can test drive one just like it. He pulled another car around, IT WAS $4,000 MORE, but I test drove it anyway. When I got back I said, if he could make sure the car I wanted was there the day after tomorrow, I would take it for a quick test drive and if they gave me a fair price and good interest rate I would buy it. We scheduled an appt. for 1 PM. He texted me the next day to confirm and I responded positively. I got there at 10 minutes to 1, he's not there. OK I'm early (but if I thought I was going to sell a car I'd be there 30 minutes early). Another young man said he could help - he tried to call the other guy - no answer. Then he said he'd check on the car - guess what THE CAR THAT i HAD MADE 2 APPOINTMENTS TO SEE WAS NOT THERE. When I asked him if this was bait and switch and the car didn't even exist he showed me an extra set of keys he said were to car and it did exist. I picked them up and said "but there's supposed to be a car that goes with these!" I don't go around acting like a jerk all day long - but in cases like this I do not hesitate to let them know how they bad there performance was. THEY HAD TREATED ME LIKE ABSOLUTE CRAP, AND I WAS GOING TO GIVE THEM $30,000. More
