Worst car buying experience EVER! My husband wanted a new truck and we were referred here by a family member- this is as far as my good experience goes. After looking through their in My husband wanted a new truck and we were referred here by a family member- this is as far as my good experience goes. After looking through their inventory, my husband selected the truck that we saw listed on the internet (which also was the first one we saw). We filled out paperwork and then waited......the sales person came back to fill this same paperwork out another 4 times....we reviewed the trade info and spoke with the sales manager Nick and thought the deal was done and just needed to wait for their finance person..... After nearly an hour and a half of being told that we were almost done and we just needed to be patient we started asking why was there such a delay....what was the hold up....what is going on. The sales managers were nothing but rude, condescending and very uncommunicative. I finally went up and asked for my keys back as we had been there over four hours at this point. I was told that they had five deals to close and ours was the last one- I told them that was not our problem and that someone should have let us know about the extreme delay time wise so we could have decided if we wanted to wait. This sales manager stated that since ours was the last one we should wait. I asked was this customer service- he laughed and rolled his eyes and said they had other deals they were working on so we just needed to wait. They only had one finance person- again not my problem. The sales managers felt that I was just a crazy woman and laughed when I complained. I again said I wanted my keys back as they apparently did not care about making a sale. I informed them that I bought two cars together and NEVER waited that long.....I was done in a matter of 30 minutes. Mind you at this time I had still not gotten my keys back..... I stated that the sales person continuing to mention how they needed a good review was really aggravating given the current situation.... And if the dealership thought that this was the way to get a good review- they were sadly mistaken. Nick proceeded to toss my keys back at me and stated that the deal was off.....they could not afford to get a BAD review from us. It was at this point I stated that this was a really xxxxty way to treat your customers. Had we been informed of the time delay- we could have gone out to eat dinner. There was NO communication and/or respect. We would have gladly gone out, gotten dinner and came back if we had been given that option. Instead, we kept getting told that it would just be a little longer.... The most ignorant sales manager ( I do not know his name as we did not work with him) had sent the porter out to the parking lot to get the truck before we had a chance to get our things out of it. Needless to say when a dealership is more worried about them getting a good customer review that actual customer service....RUN! Hopefully this review is on the website that you were so afraid of getting a negative review on and that it is NOT removed....although I am sure Thomas dodge will filter it if they can. I only have one word-HORRIBLE!!! From the reviews I did see on here, there are several other people who have had a less than pleasant experience. More
