Dan was very forthright with both my wife and myself, pointing out the attributes and value of the vehicle we were interested in purchasing. Once the sale was completed he did everything possible to retrieve my wife's Garmin that she had inadvertently left in the car we traded in. This was not a small task since the car had probably been off Sharpe's lot for several days, but he was able to track down the vehicle and get the Garmin returned. I was asked to rate the dealer and felt that I owed them my opinion. I first discovered the Mini while on a business trip. I was looking for a small fuel efficient car. I was greeted by a co owner of the dealership although I didin't know that at the time. It was near closing time and he answered all my questions which when dealing with a Mini are many. I kept him busy way past the time he should have locked the doors. He never mentioned that fact. I needed to schedule more time later and my experiece with Shaun began. He was completley knowlegable and and obviously not just a salesman but a true fan of the car. The process was easy and he went out of his way on a number of details. I took as many test rides as I required to make a decision. I could go on but Mini dealers are a different breed and the Sharpe collection is no exception. I have recently moved to Maryland and miss the service I got from Sharpe BMW in Grand Rapids, MI (although I don't miss MI!). It's so good you take it for granted after a while. Shaun and George Jr. really put it together quickly for me. Sharpe did not have my car in its inventory but these two located and worked a deal with a Chicago dealership on a Friday afternoon. On my first visit to Sharpe, my intention was simply to test-drive a Mini, an object of fond longing for years; I wasn't expecting to buy one for another couple months. However, the sales consultant, Shau test-drive a Mini, an object of fond longing for years; I wasn't expecting to buy one for another couple months. However, the sales consultant, Shaun, pointed out that any Mini I ordered built to my personal specs wouldn't be ready for almost that long anyway, so I excitedly placed my order and drove back to Kalamazoo on a cloud. Shaun had shown me how to track my Mini's progress online, and he made sure I was enfolded in the Mini owners' community at the outset. When I returned to the dealership to pick up my new car, Shaun clearly and patiently showed me my way around its settings and controls. As before and since, he was as friendly, personable, and helpful as I could wish. He's continued to offer help and answers as needed, as well as to make sure I stay in the know about Mini special offers and events. The dealership employees who led me efficiently through the paperwork were great too, completing my impression of straight, easy dealing at Sharpe. More
