After just getting back from a Military Deployment I headed home to visit my family in Grand Rapids. I was interested in a CPO BMW 335i and thought I'd swing by the local dealership to check them out. The sales associate who helped me out was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. As my initial impression with BMW it was a huge dissapointment. He was unwilling to let me test drive a car, and extremely reluctant to even talk to me about BMW or any of the cars. Once he became aware that my intentions most likely were not to buy, he basically decided that he wanted nothing to do with me. I was with my father and brother at the time. My father was interested in a 335 sedan, but wont be buying from them. More
I was about to return from vaction, and my Jaguar displayed a trouble code. I called Sharpe from my hotel and was kindly greated by Heather in service. A half hour later I was greated with a smile on displayed a trouble code. I called Sharpe from my hotel and was kindly greated by Heather in service. A half hour later I was greated with a smile on my arrival and my car was taken quickly for diagnosis. Within an hour they had me back on the road. My experience with the Sharpe Dealership dates back to 1997, but occasionally I feel motivated to offer my sincere appreciation for their outstanding service. I often hear people complain about how much it costs to maintain a luxury German automobile, but I've accepted the fact that while BMW's provide an excellent balance of performance and luxury, they require precise and expert care. Sharpe has consistently performed the maintenance that my vehicles require, with timely diagnosis and repair, and offers me a seamless experience every time I'm at the Dealership. From the drop-off procedure, to the comfortable and clean loaner vehicle, to the diagnosis, to the communication of my car's needs, to the flexible pick up of my newly repaired (and washed) vehicle, they exhibit complete professionalism. Special kudos to Jason Bigelow my service advisor, who continue to impress with his excellent interpersonal skills, honesty, trustworthiness, efficiency, and overall knowledge of the BMW line! Its easy to be skeptical of expensive service, but I have shopped around the community for the last 15 years, and I believe that the Sharpe Dealership offers the best BMW service product (complete service experience for the dollar) in the greater Grand Rapids area. BMW Client Advisor Dan Erdei is the primary reason we purchased a vehicle from The Sharpe Collection. Grand Rapids is over two hours from our home--Grand Blanc Motors is closer and more convenient; howev purchased a vehicle from The Sharpe Collection. Grand Rapids is over two hours from our home--Grand Blanc Motors is closer and more convenient; however, we stopped by Sharpe six months ago while on a business trip to take a look at newer model BMWs. Dan is a proficient communicator and did an excellent job of keeping in touch with us until we were ready to purchase a vehicle. The buying experience was professional and efficient. Love everything about the dealer and the car. I have no regrets, but I believe that the car could have been a bit more price competitive. But the Mini is a "premium" small car, so I guess you do get what regrets, but I believe that the car could have been a bit more price competitive.
