I purchased two Mini Cooper's from Shaun Wade at Mini of Grand Rapids within 18 months. He is friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and follows up promptly when questions exist. I would recommend him to a friend. I have had occasion where service took a substantial amount of time. Mini took care of me with use of a loaner vehicle, which was great, but I had to request it and update calls regarding service work. Communication between departments needs some polish, but their work and intentions are good. One of my vehicles is being used in NC. Records for this Mini were flawlessly transferred to the Charlotte dealer. Reception of the transferred car was very good. More
We were looking for a car, so we went to the BMW dealership as soon as we walked in Quentin Groce greeted us and welcomed as in, and tried to find what we were looking for. Once we got what we were looking for an x3 or and x5 Quentin went to work and tried his hardest/ the best he could do to find the one we wanted and get it to us as soon as possible. Once we found are x3 he made sure we got it serviced in one day, and when we came to pick up are new car he made sure to go over every little detail we needed. More
I certainly would steer clear of this dealership. I have a validated warranty claim that I have been attempting to get resolved with them all summer. We visited the dealership on a Saturday. Shaun Waid and the rest of the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. My husband had forgotten his wallet that day and they kept the dealership open way past the rest of the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. My husband had forgotten his wallet that day and they kept the dealership open way past closing so we could run back home which was 35 minutes away, 4th of July weekend no less to get it so we could complete our purchase and drive our BMW home that day. Now that is customer service with a "WoW" factor. Shaun also gave me lesson " BMW #101" ( since I'm tech challenged ) and had all the patience in the world and made it fun too. I will definitely recommend them to others. Our son drives a Beamer also and has said he wouldn't have a problem bringing his car to them for service after hearing about our experience with Sharpe. And he lives 2 hours away. Thanks Shaun for making our experience so enjoyable. More
Now having issue with licensing in Indiana. BMV claiming that limited power of attorney is required due to lease. We are pleased with multiple things that happened with our buying experience: 1. The review of features and options of the car During our visit 1. A car was not ready to review at time of arrival (searched the lot with another salesman) 2. Car was brought up quickly and we fit the family in for an enjoyable test drive 3. Brought the car back to the dealership. Wife and kids were sent off to get some supper. 4. While they were gone, paperwork was filled out and credit check completed. 5. Took an additional two hours to finish up the paperwork through the BMW site next door. (Kids and wife are now cranky.) 6. Unable to take the car home (but was delivered) due to the car not being detailed and ready. 7. Paperwork was not filled out correctly so I was contacted, while on vacation, that the paperwork needed to be corrected and would be sent to me via Fed EX. Returning to the dealership was not an option. Bottom line, car is just what we wanted and expected. Dealer experience was not. More
I hired Sharpe BMW to conduct a used vehicle inspection on a 2004 BMW 641ci convertible that I am considering purchasing from a private party. I had a very positive and friendly experience. The service representative conducting the inspection for me discovered two recalls that had not been taken care of. Both of those items were corrected. A very detailed review of the vehicle was performed. I was provided a hard copy of the service documentation for the inspection. I am very impressed with all the personnel I came into contact with today. Every one was very friendly and helpful. Mic did a great job explaining the details of the used vehicle inspection and reviewing the findings with me. I will do business with this team in the future. More
I've avoided this dealership like the plague and had my car serviced at German Auto; wasn't impressed with how I was treated. Recently we took the car back for a warranty/service question and was pleasantly surprised by how well Shaun took care of us and the vehicle. The shop work was perfect and communication through Shaun was top notch - kept informed through every step of the warranty process. The Mini side of the business is outstanding! More
I have had nothing but a positive experience with Sharpe service. Unfortunately I wasn't able to purchase my I BMW from Sharpe BMW because of certified pre owned availablility, but that hasn't changed the service.
