My wife and I just leased a 2013 535i Gran Torino with which we were assisted by Todd Kerkstra in the process. When it came time for receipt of the vehicle, Todd took time to really explain as much of the features of the car as possible before we left the dealership that evening- and even gave an additonal tutorial to me upon returning to the dealership for a service related issue several days later. My wife and I recently took delivery of our new BMW 5 Series from Sharpe BMW. This is our second BMW from Sharpe. Both times we worked with Dan Erdei, Client Advisor, and Bryan Dandurand, Sales Manager Series from Sharpe BMW. This is our second BMW from Sharpe. Both times we worked with Dan Erdei, Client Advisor, and Bryan Dandurand, Sales Manager. Dan and Bryan did an excellent job putting together and finalizing our first and our most recent deal. My familiy (wife and 2 young children) were in need of a replacement vehicle. We had been to 3 other dealers looking that day with a terrible experience at the first stop. I had almost given up for the day but we were driving by and stopped for 1 last stop. My wife and I were walking down the rows looking at there stock. Shaun came out the door and asked if we needed anything and we said we were just looking and he simply said ok and to let him know if we had any questions. That was the 1st thing I immediately noticed, they did not chase us around even when I told them as other dealers that day did. We saw 2 cars of interest and then I did go back to get Shaun. He was extremely friendly to talk to. He did not give us any type of pushy sales pitch. He was nothing but helpful and very polite and professional. We asked some questions and he gave us the answers. It was a very pleasent experience if you can believe buying a car is. We told him we were going to go home and think about it and he said ok sounds great again without any pressure. I can't say enough how much I appreciate that. We did decide to purchase one of the cars we looked at the next day. I called Shaun I told him we would take it (2005 BMW 530). My wife and I went back and the car was all ready to go with a full tank of gas. Even the paperwork was fast and freindly. Shaun went over all the details of the car and the functions with us and we were on our way. The whole experience start to finish was 1st class. More
I decided that I wanted to buy a BMW 335is, and while doing the research about it I realized that 2013 was the last year for them, and there will be no 2014 replacement. So, I went to see Dan at Sharpe B doing the research about it I realized that 2013 was the last year for them, and there will be no 2014 replacement. So, I went to see Dan at Sharpe BMW in Grand Rapids. Of course he did not have one in his inventory because it's August of 2013, and told me that a new one could no longer be ordered because the 2014s are starting to arrive. He did, however go out of his way to search other dealer inventories and managed to find 3 left in the entire country. One was configured fairly close to the way I would have ordered it, so I decided to try to get it. We sat down to discuss a deal on the car. He was very easy to work with, and even did some discounting of the MSRP before I asked him to. We came to an agreement and he ordered the car from the other dealer for me. There was an issue getting the other dealer to respond to their requests (I don't know which dealer it was) but the team at Sharpe stayed on them and eventually got the car transferred to their inventory and arranged shipping to get the car to Michigan. I ended up making another special request at this point. My wife and I were co-signing for the financing, but her schedule would not allow her to be there at delivery, and we would have had to wait for more than a week after it got there before we could both be there to pick it up. They arranged to have us come in and sign the papers early, but I was trading my old car as part of the package. They allowed me to keep the old car for a week so I could still get around, and when it looked like the car may not arrive in time, they even sent someone 40 miles out to my house to swap the plate on my trade-in with a dealer plate so they could finish the paperwork and transfer my plate to the new car. During this entire process, they were in constant contact, and I did not even have to bother them constantly to get status updates on all of the things that had to come together to make this happen. Although, I bothered them fairly constantly, anyway. They were always courteous and professional, with their responses. I am very happy with my experience at Sharpe, and with Dan's performance as my salesperson. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a car in Grand Rapids stop by Sharpe and talk to Dan. More
I brought my 2002 MINI Cooper S for evaluation of overheating and was advised the radiator fan needed to be replaced, After that service the problem recurred and when I returned was assured it was o overheating and was advised the radiator fan needed to be replaced, After that service the problem recurred and when I returned was assured it was only a fuse which was replaced at no charge and no record of the visit was made. When the problem happened again, a search of the internet revealed the power steering pump fan and radiator fan to be on the same electrical circuit. If the power steering pump fan goes bad (and apparently this is a common problem as the fan is under the car in the dirt and grime) it blows the fuse and the radiator fan does not work. I replaced the power steering fan myself and have had no further overheating problems or blown fuses. When I returned to ask them if they felt any responsibility for the original misdiagnosis of the overheating problem, I was told there was nothing they could do for me. I cannot recommend this dealership for MINI service. More

I have used Sharpe to purchase my vehicles for the last 10 years. I recently bought a Mini Countryman. Shaun is remarkably attentive and did everything one could ask in making the transaction go smoothly. Moreover, I know that any questions I have about the car will be answered readily and that the service will be impeccable. I use Sharpe because not only have I loved my BMWs and Minis, but also their service really is exceptional. I live in Florida part of the year, and always breathe a sigh of relief to be back in Grand Rapids when it comes to any issues that I might have about one of my cars. I always trust Sharpe to do a thorough and honest maintenance service and to keep my cars running well. More

My last vehicle was a departure from BMW and a mistake, I am happy to be back in my Beemer and back in the care of Sharpe service with Jason Bigelow. Everyone is very polite. The sale was very easy and everything was explained in detail. There is no such thing as an inexpensive new BMW, but what you are buying is a very well built machine. I've only owned it for a weekend but I really cant imagine not driving one now. The attention to detail they put into the car is great. 100% sure my next car will be another BMW from Sharpe. More
