The New Babylon Honda

I knew I wanted a Honda CRV and I thought that I needed to visit several dealerships to try to get the right price--I was also getting out of my leased Honda CRV, so needed help with that as well. I had been to one other dealership, prior to Babylon, but once I started working with Luisa, I felt completely comfortable and confident that I was getting the right car at the right price. I was shopping alone, and was fearful of being taken advantage of. But Luisa took all the time I needed to answer every question I had about the car and every single line on the contract. She also thoroughly explained how the deal was working with the lease I was turning in, including the overage of miles I had incured. She did not have any attitude at all, when I asked her to re-explain something, and I found that everything she had told me when we first met, was exactly as the transaction went through in the end. No hidden fees and no surprises at all. She also respected my time restriction, and had me in sitting with David, from the finance department, who answered my questions and helped me determine how much I should put down on the car, based on my personal financial situation. They also arranged for an excellent financing package--I had shopped around and was surprised when the interest rate they quoted me was less than my local credit union. I was not hounded by Luisa after my visit, the way I am now being hounded by the other dealer I had visited. It was not a hard sell at all--her intelligence about the product and her calm and non-pushy approach won me over. I would definitely go back to Babylon Honda for my next vehicle, when I need a car for my two sons and will recommend them to friends as well. Well worth the little extra mileage to get there. If you are like me and dread the whole buying a new car process because of the typical antics that occur at most dealerships...then look no further than Babylon Honda and in particular, my salesperson Haro process because of the typical antics that occur at most dealerships...then look no further than Babylon Honda and in particular, my salesperson Harold Steinberg. Harold is the consummate professional and there was zero sales pressure. Moreover, he is genuinely nice. On the day I had to pick up my new CRV I was running over 2 hours late and I called Harold to let him know - he was so gracious and he waited for me to arrive and once I did - he patiently walked me through every feature of my new CRV - he even set up my smart phone to the car's blue tooth! Then wanted to go the extra mile and set up all my Radio presets too! Harold made sure all the accessories I ordered were installed on my CRV and he had my car prepped to perfection hours before pick up - he kept in touch with me every step of the way which resulted in the smoothest and fastest car purchase I ever experienced. I shopped at 6 different dealerships prior to Babylon Honda...which resulted in a lot of aggravation and wasted time. Do yourself a favor...if you want a Honda (in my opinion who wouldn't) go to Babylon Honda and specifically ask for Harold- you will save yourself a lot of stress. From the minute my husband and I entered the showroom we were treated like valued customers. Our salesman, Gary Schwimmer, was fabulous. When we came to take ownership of the CRV, Gary came in, just for us, even though it was his day off. The car was ready, perfectly prepped and included all the accessories that we had ordered. Gary showed us how to operate the electronics in the vehicle and spent a considerable amount of time with us to be sure we were happy and understood all aobut the vehicle. He had all the paperwork ready as well and even introduced us to the service manager. John, who we spoke to about financing and the extended warrantee, was there as well to greet us and answer a few questions that we had since it was the first car we have ever financed. He was patient and thorough and, like Gary, greeted us when we arrived to pick up the car.
