Bought a car that was “rebuilt” but has several thousand dollars worth of repairs that are DIRECT RELATED to the accident the car had and was not taken care of at the time they “rebuilt” the vehicle. Did de dollars worth of repairs that are DIRECT RELATED to the accident the car had and was not taken care of at the time they “rebuilt” the vehicle. Did decent body work to make it look good…mechanically they did just enough to make the car roll down the street for a test drive. Offers to help fix through their shop, even with me accepting to pay for the repairs out of my own pocket have been entirely unkept. Im betting theyll respond with “we offered you a warranty but you refused” if you have a warranty company that will fix unrepaired damage from an accident previous to purchase, please let is all know who it is, because the warranty company i chose and two mechanics have determined the repairs cannot be covered because they are directly related to un repaired damage from the accident in which made the car salvage in the first place. This dealership lives up to every bad experience you can have when buying a car. More
First off, I am not one to write reviews. However, I have never been so genuinely frustrated with a company from start to finish in my life. The level of incompetence I have experienced with these guys will never been so genuinely frustrated with a company from start to finish in my life. The level of incompetence I have experienced with these guys will truly be hard to articulate through text, however I will try my best. I purchased my vehicle from the internet car lot on 4/17/21. I drove from Kansas City up to Omaha as I believed they had a car I liked for a fair listing price. There appeared to be a few minor issues with the car when I test drove it, but nothing that was a deal breaker. I proceeded to purchase the vehicle on the spot, trusting that it had been fully inspected by a qualified mechanic as they advertised. On my trip back from Omaha to KC the car had a low tire pressure hazard light pop up. After a few times of refilling the tire to proper psi I contacted my sales associate (Josh Krukenberg) and was advised to visit Discount Tire and they would patch the tire for free. I wasn’t thrilled about this as I had just purchased the vehicle, however I figured it wouldn’t be too big of a hassle (boy, was I wrong). At discount tire I was shown that it wasn’t the tire that was the problem, rather it was the wheel itself which had been unprofessionally welded and was leaking air. I contacted Josh again at this point explaining the problem and trusting that he would do everything in his power to fix this issue swiftly. I assumed they would offer to right their wrong by fully reimbursing me for a replacement wheel within the coming days. Suffice to say, I was wrong again. I will avoid going into details about the numerous calls I have had to make over the past month and a half to Josh, and John (service manager) trying to tackle the apparent gargantuan task of locating a replacement wheel. All the while, refilling this tire daily just to commute from home <> work for well over a month. Today, 5/24/21, I finally received the replacement wheel after playing scavenger hunt for a random guy working in a warehouse in downtown KC that they apparently shipped the package to, rather than sending it directly to my address. The replacement wheel was clearly already used with scuff marks all over it. Mind you, a brand new replacement wheel would have been no more than $300 and would have been able to fix the problem on the spot. But no, this penny pinching company would rather their customer wait for well over a month to fix their mistake/lies in order to save a few bucks. The most frustrating part of all of this, is that this issue could have been entirely avoided if they had just been upfront and honest from the start. You see, this faulty welding air leak didn't just miraculously arise as soon as I drove off the lot. They clearly thought they could pull the wool over my eyes by filling the tire prior to my test drive and allowing me to deal with the problem once I drove off of the lot. I don't know about you, but that type of slimey/shady business grinds my gears to no end. I absolutely hate that I gave my business to this company, but hopefully those of you reading this review will think twice before giving them yours. More
I have had nothing but issues. I bought my vehicle 5 months ago and the still won't report my loan. The only reason I went to then was because payments are every 2 weeks so it would improve my credit fa months ago and the still won't report my loan. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE INTERNET CAR LOT!! They make money off of totally scamming people with salvaged vehicles they “repaired” and had “inspected”. The inspection for most states to qualify as a rebui money off of totally scamming people with salvaged vehicles they “repaired” and had “inspected”. The inspection for most states to qualify as a rebuild title instead of salvage title is basically a sheriff looks at the vehicle and VIN number and makes sure its the same vehicle and not stolen. They do not look at the vehicle mechanically in any way. I learned this after about 50 phone calls to the State of Nebraska Motor Vehicles to see what I can do about this mess. I am sharing this review because we got completely taken advantage of and I’m hoping to prevent others from dealing with our same situation.. We did sign “as is” but thought we could trust this dealership and were hoping to get good deal on a vehicle for my business. They seemed very professional and honest in all of their communication with us about our salvage title/rebuild vehicle. We drove to Omaha from Sioux Falls and noticed the heat in the rear portion of the van was not working properly. They replaced the thermostat before we drove home. After having the vehicle for a few days we noticed the engine temperature increasing to an unsafe level and losing heat in the whole vehicle. After digging into the engine further than our initial inspection at the dealership, my husband noticed a total absence of AC lines and wiring harnesses/coolant lines hanging on the manifold. I let our salesman know what we found and he told us the mechanic at the dealership would need to look at it. We were not able to drive it because it was constantly overheating and had no heat so we had to ship it back to Omaha from Sioux Falls. This cost US 350$ even though it was advertised to have heat and AC which it clearly did not. Their mechanic put the AC lines back in and hooked up the wiring harness, as well as a new radiator (which was not the issue in the first place and we were not notified or asked if this could be done). We then had a friend trailer it back to Sioux Falls for us. As soon as we started the vehicle and let it warm up we noticed it again did not have heat and was overheating. No one at the dealership had driven this vehicle or tested it before sending it back to us. I begged the dealership to please take it back and just be done with this whole deal. The salesman said they couldn’t take it back but I COULD CONSIGN IT WITH THEM AND LET SOMEONE ELSE DEAL WITH IT. WHAT?!?! So they wouldn’t give us our money back or properly fix a vehicle they clearly didn’t put back together correctly in the first place but they would be willing to advertise it for us and let someone else BUY IT AGAIN. I can’t believe a business can function on total dishonesty and not take responsibility for selling a product that was not advertised correctly and a danger to the person using it. We then took the vehicle to a mechanic in Sioux Falls knowing we would just have to dump money into it to get it good enough to drive. Our mechanic told us after looking at it for fifteen minutes that it was unsafe to drive. It would probably need a new engine, suspension, AC and heat units and that’s not even after digging into it very far. He said it looked like it had been put back together by a first grader and to not ever drive it with my 3 kids in the car because it was a ticking time bomb. We are now stuck with a 12,000$ vehicle that is not worth it to fix but I don’t feel right about trading or selling to anyone else. THIS PLACE IS A FREAKING SCAM!!!! I know I will get a comment back saying I should have bought a warranty. They push a warranty on the customer because they KNOW you are going to have issues and a third party warranty company can then deal with it instead of the dealership. I do realize we were a little naive in the situation but again, I just want others to learn from our mistake and not give this business their time or money. It is NOT worth it!!! More
We had done a lot of preliminary looking and had a good idea of what we wanted to look at. He was very helpful with getting us prequalified for a loan before we walked in the door. He helped my husband t idea of what we wanted to look at. He was very helpful with getting us prequalified for a loan before we walked in the door. He helped my husband test drive it and was very friendly. We appreciate how straight forward, matter of fact, professional and courteous William was. I like how clean the building was . With as much snow as we have, the floor was very clean. Thanks, we look forward to all the adventures that we will have in our new Flex!!! More
