I was looking for a basic get from point a to point b car.They make people feel welcome and more like potential friends then customers. They are located in Dumfries va now and have been there for a while. I got a Mazda protege From Bobby. Earnist helped me check the vehicle out before purchase. It still runs great and I've had it now for three months. More

Great service, very friendly, upfront truthful people I would go back a million times over again if I had enough money to buy these cars, the people are great, truthful and trustworthy to their word. Never buy a car from them! I bought a 2013 car from this dealer 4 months ago in June this year at 41,000 miles, and now i already have to spend $800 to replace the throttle body I bought a 2013 car from this dealer 4 months ago in June this year at 41,000 miles, and now i already have to spend $800 to replace the throttle body system as well as having to get new brakes and rotors. They are scam artist, my salesman, Chris took advantage of the fact that I'm a first time car buyer and swindled me into signing a non-warranty contract once I bought the car, he originally told me that i would have 3 months warranty with them once I bough the car, that was a lie! the catch was when he showed me the contract, he was explaining the document to me before I signed and he told me they would cover me up to 3 months! But it wasn't as it appeared, they hid the non warranty part on the back of the paper where it was not visible! He had swindled me into signing something that was not true. Once i confronted them about it afterwards, he told me that my manufacturer will protect me with warranty up until I reach 45,000 miles.. That was a lie! I went to the manufacturer dealer because my ETC light kept coming on, and wouldn't allow me to drive faster than 20 mph, and the manufacturer told me that I was not covered under the warranty with them, because they only cover up to 36,000 miles if your car is less than three years old. Which means I never had warranty with the dealer i bought it from (car store inc), or the manufacturer to begin with when I first purchased the car, and the car store inc knew that and lied to me! I will recommend to never do Buissness with them. They are scammers. More

The vehicle was sold to us for my 70 year old mother. The vehicle was sold as is but we were told that the vehicle was in EXCELLENT condition and would have no problem passing inspection. Upon having the vehicle was sold as is but we were told that the vehicle was in EXCELLENT condition and would have no problem passing inspection. Upon having the vehicle inspected we learned that 1) The headlights and foglights were not even attached to the car. They were just sitting in the slots - handing there somehow staying in place. 2) Brakeline Cut 3) The cables were being held to the battery by a screw jammed into the positive socket. 4) All 4 tires were worn on the INSIDE 5) distributor cap missing 6) front bumper is not attached. it is just hanging there by two thin wires wrapped to the chassis 7) Axle boots are all torn The above issues were estimated at $2000 to fix, not including some issues such as the lights. Upon discovering this I called The Car store to inform them that I would be filing a complaint. I understood that the vehicle was sold as is, but the issues uncovered were just ridiculous and undisclosed. I was told at that time (By Bobby) that he would order me new lights for the vehicle, and that he would assist me in getting the other repair items needed at a discounted cost. I decided to let them work with me on the issue. That was almost a month ago. Starting last week I began calling back (my first call was 7/17/2010) to find out what was going on. I got a mixed match of answers from "they have not come in yet" to "we will call you as soon as they come", and finally - yesterday, Bobby told me that he was waiting for me to call back and tell him to order them. I was then angry. Today I got a call that they are unable to find the lights anywhere, so I am on my own. and this is just the lights. It does not include all the other issues that were not disclosed. Do not trust, do no purchase from The Car Store Inc. in Stafford Va. As they will do this to an aging on a budget sweet old lady, don't think for a second that they care about YOU! More
