Very Good Service I brought my 2005 XC 70 for road service before departing on a 1,300 mile trip. Robert Fellows greeted me, briefed me thoroughly on what they would go over on the car and told me my wait time would be about 90 minutes. The waiting area was comfortable, with free coffee and fast wif-fi. Just about 90 minutes later, Robert went over the findings. Happily, my Volvo, with only 80k miles, is in very good shape. He noted some preventative maintenance that I should be thinking about down the road, all of which was included in a very thorough report which he later emailed to me. My bill was about $50. I feel that Autobarn Volvo Cars of Oak Park is professional, honest and competent and I will use them for all my future service needs. More

Buyers Beware of Autobarn Volvo! I’ve purchased numerous vehicles over the years, new and used for both personal and corporate use. Of all the dealerships I‘ve ever dealt with, Auto I’ve purchased numerous vehicles over the years, new and used for both personal and corporate use. Of all the dealerships I‘ve ever dealt with, Autobarn Volvo, by far, hands down, wins my “Most Egregious Dealership Award”. Congratulation! Sales manager Roosevelt Sturkey handled my deal directly, no sales rep. We struck a deal and I dropped a deposit on a new vehicle that he said was en route “from the port in Baltimore”, yes, he was very specific. The day prior to taking delivery I discovered Roosevelt was trying to pass off their demo vehicle, used for test drives, as this new vehicle that was inbound from “the port in Baltimore”. Unbeknownst to Roosevelt I had taken note of the VIN of their demo on the day I came in to make the initial deal. Trying to pass off a demo as new, priced as new, all while leading me to believe this was the “port of Baltimore” new car, that’s pretty shady at best. Can’t imagine Volvo would approve of such customer treatment nor Lisa Madigan’s office for that matter. I’ll be sharing this with both. Shop around, there are far more honest Volvo dealers in the Chicago area, such as Volvo of Lisle, I can highly recommend their sales manager Ken Kowal. He put us in a beautiful new Volvo deception free. More

I bypass dealerships closer to my home to specifically go to Oak Park Volvo for all my car’s maintenance. Over the years, I’ve worked regularly with Mark Kubil and Robert Fellows, both very personable, knowledgeable, and overall great at their jobs. I will probably be a lifetime Volvo owner, and as long as I remain in the Chicagoland area, plan to keep Oak Park Volvo as my go to for all my car’s needs. More

Great Experience! I stopped by the Autobarn Volvo in Oak Park to look at a used GMC Yukon Denali that was listed on cars.com. I called as I was on the way and Jimmy I stopped by the Autobarn Volvo in Oak Park to look at a used GMC Yukon Denali that was listed on cars.com. I called as I was on the way and Jimmy answered. He was able to locate the car and called me right back to come in. It was within the hour of closing but Jimmy was really accommodating. He took me for a test drive knowing that we weren't able to close the deal that night. He was really personable and helpful. The next morning I brought my family in to take a look at the car. Jimmy had the car ready and took my husband for a test drive. The dealership was really clean and even had things to keep my 5 year old twin boys occupied. The GM (Richard Kirkpatrick) was really nice to us. Purchasing a car can be a really long, grueling process but Jimmy and the staff at the Autobarn made it so much better. I was impressed with the Volvos that I saw there and I would definitely consider looking there for our next car. When you go, ask for Jimmy! He's the best! We purchased a package that had a protection coating for our seats. They called a few days later for us to bring the car in. They had a loaner car available to us and were great about communicating pick up times with us. Robert Fellows helped us in service and he was really great. More
