Great experience from start to finish We were looking to replace our old beloved car with something new. After deciding we wanted a Volvo, we of course looked at The Autobarn Volvo of Oak Park first because we live in Oak Park. We visited the showroom and were met by sales consultant Darrell Reimer who sat with us to discuss what we wanted. He showed us the model vehicles we were considering, walked through the various options that were available, and helped us find the perfect car for us. During this process we learned of the many benefits of purchasing a vehicle from the Oak Park showroom including the onsite maintenance facility which would be caring for our car, the easy process for getting maintenance performed including delivery of a loaner car to our home when they would pick up our car for service - making the maintenance process as easy and seamless as possible, and of course the free lifetime car washes for our car. Once we finished the paperwork our customer concierge and delivery specialist Eilidh O'Brien took over and went through every aspect of the vehicle with us making us comfortable with our new purchase. She even said we could come back again (and again) to get a refresher on the car features if we wanted. All in all this is a first class dealership and I would highly recommend them if you are considering a new or Certified used Volvo. The only negative part of the experience was a lack of available cars in the style that we were considering. This isn't really a dealership issue though as I understand the XC40 which we wanted is very popular and a new style so availability is limited. More

I have a 2002 XC70 and have been waiting for Volvo to move the production of the XC60 from China to Sweden so I could do the Overseas Delivery Program. Jay knew I was interested in this program and as soon as he found out that from Volvo that the production was being moved he contacted me so that I could place my order. I was thrilled. Just finished my paperwork and will be going shortly to pick up my new car. Jay has been most helpful throughout the process and would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a new or used Volvo. Very honest dealership from Sales to Service. Fun, friendly atmosphere - a joy to visit. Plus they have Starbucks hot chocolate! More

Emergency New Tires Got a flat tire on the way to work. Volvo was top notch with their road side assistance and even better at the Autoban of Oak Park. Based on my experience with other dealers/service departments, I'm more than happy to take the time to drive fifteen miles to get there, wait till the job is done, and drive fifteen miles back. The problem I continue to have with this dealership is trying to get in touch with people. I can rarely get through to Marc or anyone else in the service department, and when I leave a message, my calls are not returned. This is becoming pretty frustrating. More
