Placed service request online with comments regarding loaner vehicle. No response from dealer. Called dealer a day before service as was told they didn't have loaner available. Took car for scheduled ser loaner vehicle. No response from dealer. Called dealer a day before service as was told they didn't have loaner available. Took car for scheduled service maintenance and waited in cold showroom lounge for about 45 min past quoted time. Not a great experience. More

I was kept informed of progress while the work was being done, had unexpected issues explained to me in detail a The service I received was excellent. I was kept informed of progress while the work was being done, had unexpected issues explained to me in detail and was able to then make informed decisions about additional service work. I held back one star from the rating for two reasons: (1) The link in an email reminder that it was time for service did not work properly, leading to a page of options that did not apply to me and didn't include the one that prompted the reminder email in the first place. When I sent an email complaining about this I got multiple irrelevant responses which just compounded the situation. Dumb and dumber system. (2) The music that was playing in the upstairs waiting area was tolerable for a short time, but incredibly annoying after several hours. I was there a long time because of additional recommended service that I chose to have done, but by the time the car was ready I was about to run screaming from the room. Really folks, zero music is necessary. You'll never pick something that everyone likes, and more random ambient noise in our lives is never, ever welcome anywhere, anytime. More
Quick, helpful service I needed a new battery, and they were able to fit me in within 30 minutes of me calling (and performed an oil change while they were at it). He was attentive to my vehicle needs (XC90) and was very patient and helpful with all my inquiries about at the Oak Park Autobarn Volvo dealership. I am very grateful they were honest & true by not trying to extract additional money from me with bogus claims about the condition of my car. I think Marc Kubil has a lot to do with the integrity of the service department. Marc is a honest, considerate and thoughtful. Marc has NEVER suggested a service that wasn't necessary. If the recommended service repairs are costly Marc always try to find a coupon to help with the expenses, without having to ask! More
