Let me say, this place is by far the MOST professional dealership I have EVER been too. When I first arrived a salesman was with another couple, and asked them to hold on for just one second so he could get an associate to assist me. When I told the sales rep that I had an appointment he already knew which car, and they had it all ready for me. After visually inspecting the car it was time for a test drive. After getting inside and pulling out of the lot, the sales rep let ME be in control of the test drive. He let ME do what I wanted. He did not try to push the car on me, but instead let me sit back and enjoy the comfortable ride. I fell in love with it right then. Instead of me having some sales guy ramble on, and on, and on, about the car and you not being able to focus on the actually test drive, he let ME be in control, and when needed, answered EVERY question I had. Congrats on hiring such an amazing associate. Alex. After the test drive was over, we went in to talk about figures. Came to a reasonable price without any headaches at all! Then after that it was on to the financing manager to get all the paper work signed. I have never had a more fun time at a dealership than I did here. I was laughing and having a GREAT time. Usually buying a car can be a horrible experience, but these guys proved EVERYONE wrong! I will definitely be coming back whenever I need anything else! Thanks again guys! More

Mr. Stratton is a true professional who is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the Volkswagen product line and more importantly, he is a person who places the best interests of the customer first and foremost. I fully consider Mr. Stratton to be a man of honesty and straightforward integrity and I would not hesitate to recommended him to anyone who may be seeking to purchase a vehicle. This place is filled with hustlers. Came in on March 6th and bought an 09 Passat from Simon. The check engine was on and I asked him what it was for. He told me it was because they washed the car the sens and bought an 09 Passat from Simon. The check engine was on and I asked him what it was for. He told me it was because they washed the car the sensors must be wet. I believed him. A week after the check engine light did not go off I went back to find out the there was a vacuum leak and it would cost $2000 to repair. So I went to talk to Simon and he told me there was nothing he can do. He told me to talk to Matt, a bigger hustler. After talking to Matt he started trying to sell me another car. I told him I just wanted the first car fixed, but he refused and told me I can pick a replacement. Finally I gave in and told him I would take the other 09 Passat they had. After negotiating the price, which of cores the new passat was more he tried to take my first car as a trade for $2000 less then what I bought it for only two weeks before. That $2000 was my down payment from the first car. I got smart and left. Do not buy here they will rip you off. More

I purchased a certified used VW Passat from autobarn in countryside, IL about 5 months ago. I first had to call customer care because the dealership did not want to give me a second key and told me I had t countryside, IL about 5 months ago. I first had to call customer care because the dealership did not want to give me a second key and told me I had to pay for it. So I called customer care to take care of the problem which was rectified only after I contacted VW corporate customer care. The dealership was giving me the run around and my sales person never contacted me to let me know if there were any updates. ALL certified VW's MUST come with two keys, and they were hoping that I didn't know that information. I always had to contact him, which is HORRIBLE customer service. Now I have a flat tire which was a "patched" tire. Of course I had no way of knowing that it was a patched tire. A Walmart service technician told me that the leak was coming from the patch in the tire. I then proceeded to call the dealership which told me there was nothing they could do for me, but to buy a new tire. Even though I purchased a certified vehicle that happened to came with a patched tire that is leaking air from that patch. I am fed up with this dealership and the case manager did absolutely nothing to help the situation. After the second negative encounter with this dealership within 5 months I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from this dealership ever again! Stay as far away as possible!!! Customer Service is HORRIBLE! Once you buy a vehicle, they kick you out the door and don't want anything else to do with you. One and Done! NEVER AGAIN!!! More
Hello George. I am not sure you remember but I was in a few weeks ago regarding my 2006 Touraeg. I had the vehicle in for service regarding an issue with water getting under the floor board and then shortc few weeks ago regarding my 2006 Touraeg. I had the vehicle in for service regarding an issue with water getting under the floor board and then shortcircuiting the electrical system. The vehicle was locked in park because of a braking sensor. The repair cost $1,024.79. When I picked up the vehicle the tires were low on air. I asked why a vehicle would be allowed to leave service with tires that were essentially flat. I received an answer that the tech must not have checked that. It seems that this is just an excuse. There was less than 10 PSI in each of the tires. I was talking to the shop technician (Jose?) and he asked how many miles I had on the vehicle. I told him appx 139K. He asked if I had the timing belt replaced because it should have been done close to 100K. I told him that I had not and he advised that I speak with your department to get an idea of how much it will cost and to schedule it. I asked for a quote when I was there and could not get a firm answer. I called the following Tuesday and spoke with someone in service and they would price it up and get back to me. NO return call. I left a voice mail on your line and never received a return call. What kind of service are you guys offering here? I am a service contractor and believe me, if I pulled this garbage we would not be in business. I will never recommend anyone to your company. More
The staff is arrogant. Our sales person could have cared less about us. We did not receive a fair value for the trade in and would not have taken it had we not had a three week old and been sleep deprived. less about us. Upon canceling the unnecessary extended warranty we received conflicting information from the finance staff and had to constantly call to have the cancellation processed and the money returned (even though the third party warranty had already processed the cancellation and sent the corresponding paperwork to the dealership). I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. We have previously used City Volkswagen and LOVED the service there. Our next Volkswagen will be from there. More

I went in for a test drive Tim was very patient friendly and knowledgeable of the vehicle. He let me drive the vehicle as long as I need it to, he didn't rush me like some places that you visit. The finance guy Gene was extremely patient and a delight to work with, he went over every details and made sure I got the best rate. working with him I didn't feel like I was getting robbed in any way. This is an awesome team even the guys that does the detail work was commited to my satisfatory. I would rate this dealer 100. More
