Horrible customer service. I regret purchasing my vehicle at this location. I’ve made appointments to replace my front and back brakes and both times the service department igno I regret purchasing my vehicle at this location. I’ve made appointments to replace my front and back brakes and both times the service department ignored the timeframe to complete the appointment. During my last visit, I waited 5 hours to have my back brakes completed. My appointment was at 11:15am and I was told my car would be completed within two hours. At 2:15pm, no one has even acknowledged my appointment. I waited an additional two hours for the work to be completed. This has happened to me twice. More

4 years old car brought in for repairs-negligence and not ac We bought the brand new VW ROutan in April 2010. We took it back to the same dealership for every service, maintenance, oil change, brakes and brake We bought the brand new VW ROutan in April 2010. We took it back to the same dealership for every service, maintenance, oil change, brakes and brake fluids, purchase of battery, tires and tires rotations, coolant line repairs. During winter, coolant line broke-we repaired, paid $50.00. During summer hot days, in April, we realized that AC is not working. Took it to the dealership for diagnostic-I paid $200.00 and they replenished the Freon and put dye in for any future problems/troubleshooting. In May, same problem, took it back, they put more Freon in, and 6told us to bring it back for more checking/repairs. In June, we took it, they found the problem, back AC system-line broken-we agreed on repairs for $530.00. They called me, that, when they tried to open to replace the line, the fitting broke from the other line and for replacement, to pay extra $400.00 . I told them they weren't careful enough and I won't pay for their negligence. The best I can pay for the part, but not for the labor. I talked to Dan, Service Manager and Dealership manager, we did not reach an agreement, I was treated poorly as a customer, not valued for the 4 years of continuous business I gave them, I trusted them with my car for my family with 4 children. I will go tonight to hopefully resolve the problem, amicably, I will report to Best Business Bureau and hope we'll reach an agreement. More

When I first arrived a salesman was with another couple, and asked them to hold on for just one second so he could get an associate to assist me. When I told the sales rep that I had an appointment he already knew which car, and they had it all ready for me. After visually inspecting the car it was time for a test drive. After getting inside and pulling out of the lot, the sales rep let ME be in control of the test drive. He let ME do what I wanted. He did not try to push the car on me, but instead let me sit back and enjoy the comfortable ride. I fell in love with it right then. Instead of me having some sales guy ramble on, and on, and on, about the car and you not being able to focus on the actually test drive, he let ME be in control, and when needed, answered EVERY question I had. Congrats on hiring such an amazing associate. Alex. After the test drive was over, we went in to talk about figures. Came to a reasonable price without any headaches at all! Then after that it was on to the financing manager to get all the paper work signed. I have never had a more fun time at a dealership than I did here. I was laughing and having a GREAT time. Usually buying a car can be a horrible experience, but these guys proved EVERYONE wrong! I will definitely be coming back whenever I need anything else! Thanks again guys! More

This place is filled with hustlers. Came in on March 6th and bought an 09 Passat from Simon. The check engine was on and I asked him what it was for. He told me it was because they washed the car the sens and bought an 09 Passat from Simon. The check engine was on and I asked him what it was for. A week after the check engine light did not go off I went back to find out the there was a vacuum leak and it would cost $2000 to repair. So I went to talk to Simon and he told me there was nothing he can do. He told me to talk to Matt, a bigger hustler. After talking to Matt he started trying to sell me another car. I told him I just wanted the first car fixed, but he refused and told me I can pick a replacement. Finally I gave in and told him I would take the other 09 Passat they had. After negotiating the price, which of cores the new passat was more he tried to take my first car as a trade for $2000 less then what I bought it for only two weeks before. That $2000 was my down payment from the first car. I got smart and left. Do not buy here they will rip you off. More

I purchased a certified used VW Passat from autobarn in countryside, IL about 5 months ago. I first had to call customer care because the dealership did not want to give me a second key and told me I had t countryside, IL about 5 months ago. I first had to call customer care because the dealership did not want to give me a second key and told me I had to pay for it. So I called customer care to take care of the problem which was rectified only after I contacted VW corporate customer care. The dealership was giving me the run around and my sales person never contacted me to let me know if there were any updates. ALL certified VW's MUST come with two keys, and they were hoping that I didn't know that information. I always had to contact him, which is HORRIBLE customer service. Now I have a flat tire which was a "patched" tire. Of course I had no way of knowing that it was a patched tire. A Walmart service technician told me that the leak was coming from the patch in the tire. I then proceeded to call the dealership which told me there was nothing they could do for me, but to buy a new tire. Even though I purchased a certified vehicle that happened to came with a patched tire that is leaking air from that patch. I am fed up with this dealership and the case manager did absolutely nothing to help the situation. After the second negative encounter with this dealership within 5 months I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from this dealership ever again! Stay as far away as possible!!! Customer Service is HORRIBLE! Once you buy a vehicle, they kick you out the door and don't want anything else to do with you. One and Done! NEVER AGAIN!!! More
