Vehicle damage while on recall service I took my new 2015 GTI for an oil change and while there I was told there is a recall for something on the real spoiler. I said yes, go ahead and do i I took my new 2015 GTI for an oil change and while there I was told there is a recall for something on the real spoiler. I said yes, go ahead and do it. Later on they called me that my car is ready. I went there to pick it up, the car was already outside. I checked the rear spolers, just to find that the right spoiler was broken and they tried to fix it poorly and there was also damage on the top spoiler. They tried to hide the damage and I guess they were hoping that I wont notice and get away with it after I would have left the dealer. I raised xxxx and called the service manager who pretended like he did not know about the damage. I told them to fix my car and dont give me any stories, cuz it was obvious that whoever tried to do the recall fix had no idea what he was doing. I mean we can all make mistakes and xxxx happens, but at least be honest about it, admit that you messed up and try to please the customer. That was my third car I bought from them and they just dont care. On top of that, nobody came to apologize or even call me to apologize. I sent emails to the service manager, general manager and the regional manager and nobody responded to my email complaints. Nobody. The car was fixed with brand new part and returned to me after a week. Because of these dealers I'll be forced to go to another german car vendor in the future. VW of Countryside FAILED big time. Excellent experience I live out of state and was interested in a pre-owned vehicle at the Autobarn. Being my first time purchasing a vehicle out of state, I was a bit appr I live out of state and was interested in a pre-owned vehicle at the Autobarn. Being my first time purchasing a vehicle out of state, I was a bit apprehensive. However, the Autobarn made me very comfortable as they explained the process and covered the bases. They were willing to hold the vehicle until I arrived the next day, arranged for transportation when I arrived at the airport, and completed the purchase within about 30 mins once I got to the dealership. Process was very smooth, car was exactly what was described, and I can’t think of how the experience could have been better. Great experience and I definitely recommend them for your next purchase! I was not greeted when I walked in or acknowledged. Was left waiting for 6 mins before I asked if someone could help me. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. Very sad that they said one thing and did another. I will take my buisness elsewhere. More

Generally pleasant experience Alex Espinoza was very easy to work with. There was a specific pre-owned vehicle in Autobarn's inventory that I was interested in. Alex did the normal things - such as arrange the test drive - but also ensured a couple safe operation-type repairs were made and coordinated with us so our own mechanic could inspect the vehicle. I really appreciated the straightforward, no-nonsense approach. Later this year I expect to buy another car and Alex is one of the people I'll consider working with again. More

First ever review I want to say that this is my official first review ever. I walked into that dealer looking for information and clarification about the new 2015 golf I want to say that this is my official first review ever. I walked into that dealer looking for information and clarification about the new 2015 golf and I got that and then some. I specifically dealt with the salesman Niko who knew these cars like the back of his hand. I had done my research and did so many times after we spoke and never was there smoke blowing. I went in and out of the dealer over several weeks talking with him and he never once pressured me, just made sure all my questions were answered. After many test drives I actually ended up buying a Passatt because it fit my needs better. His attitude and knowledge is probably the only reason I bought from there. I would love to say awesome things about the finance team but there's nothing to glorify there. Same ol stuff as many dealers. Even till now Niko calls or text to see how I'm enjoying my vehicle. The service department did take care of me this past Wednesday when I came in for the 10k maintaince and that was pleasurable. They even coordinated to have my vehicle detailed which I thought was above and beyond what they needed to do. I believe the gentlemens name who did it was Gomes and my car looks spanking new again. Will be going back for the Touareg pretty soon because of Niko. More
