My subaru forester transmission failed. A known problem that should be been fixed by a recall, but was at least covered by extended warranty. They required me to pay $400 for transmission service afterwards even though it was their bum transmission that failed, and other shops do it for $200. Don't get your car serviced at dealerships, and maybe avoid subaru cvt vehicles More
