We bought a Nissan Rogue from the Auto barn. The sales experience was great. Tom Brennon was easy to work with, very nonpressure. They told us that they wouldn't do the work because that was the factory recommendation. We contacted the Auto Barn and told us to bring the car in. They performed the service work. No questions asked. The real iceing on the cake was that we did the service work while in route to our vacation. The Auto Barn, David the Porter and Tom Brennon arranged for us to get to our hotel so that we could fly out of Ohare the following morning, and when we returned 10 days later they picked us up and brought us back to the Auto Barn where all of our work was completed without a hitch. It starts with the phone call in my opinion. I did a fare share of research and spoke with many dealerships. With Autobarn, Mohammed was informative and straight forward. He followed up right away with any questions that I had. He didn't try to talk me into buying something I couldn't afford. He respected my needs as a customer. They had what I needed and worked with me so that I was able to afford my payments. I would recommend (and have already) these guys to anyone. We went to the Autobarn after finding limited availability in the options of the SUV we were looking for. We had not purchased a car in over 8 years and were not excited about going through the availability in the options of the SUV we were looking for. They were one of the few dealers that were willing to look for the exact car with the exact options we wanted (an Armada). They found the color and the hard to find options that we needed for our growing family. In addition, the whole deal was done in under an hour. It was also a better deal than the one we were given for the same exact car at another dealer. Demar was completely down to earth and a pleasure to deal with and Joe really made the deal come together. We would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone in the market for a Nissan. More

Autobarn Nissan was different--they were attentive without being pushy and I didn't feel ignored or pressured. Joe, Nate, and Demar were wonderful to work with and helped to make the entire process very smooth and enjoyable. The "AUTOBARN in Evanston" is the best place to get your next vehicle. My husband was in search of his next car and fell in love with a 2008 Nissan Maxima that the Autobarn had for sale. He called and spoke with Tom Brennan to get some information on the car and was very happy with what he heard. He planned a trip to the dealer and test drove the car, then he spoke with Tom about financing and trading in his vehicle. Once he got all the necessary information he came home to speak with me about purchasing the vehicle. I was thrilled and couldn't wait to check it out for myself. My husbands credit was undergoing some problems so he was not approved for the financing, I in turn decided to apply for the financing and was approved.We got down to every detail about the price and additional cost for warranty. We were very happy with the price of the vehicle, it was a great deal for a pre-owned certified 2008 Nissan Maxima. Mr. Joe Canda came to us and answered every question that I asked which put me at ease. Everything went great we were in and out in no time. A few days later a I got a call from the finance rep. stating there was a confusion with my approval. I already had a vehicle financed and the bank would not finance a second vehicle for me. I couldn't believe it! How could this happen. Mr. Joe Canda worked his magic. He came through for us and got me the financing I needed to keep the car!! It was a bumpy road but I must say when it comes to satisfying your customers the "AUTOBARN" is "NUMERO UNO" they don't just care about making the sale they also care about the customer and doing what is best. This experience is unforgettable and I will recommend this place to all my family and friends. Tom was a great salesman and Joe Canda ( I really like this guy!) You guys are the best! I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone based on the great experience I just had with them. I purchased a pre-owned, certified 2007 Nissan 350Z Grand Touring Roadster that I saw advertised based on the great experience I just had with them. I purchased a pre-owned, certified 2007 Nissan 350Z Grand Touring Roadster that I saw advertised online. I live in New Mexico and was willing to look all over the country for the right car for me, and found it with these guys. From the moment I first called to inquire about the car, I dealt with Nate, probably the nicest salesman I've ever dealt with. As the car was originally housed in one of their warehouses, he personally went to check out the car, inspect it, and was very honest about disclosing the very minor cosmetic blemishes on the car. (It's in near mint condition, but it's still used, and as such has a few minor signs of it. Even though they're minor and not really noticeable, I appreciated Nate's honesty rather than pressuring me and brushing them off to try and make a sale). After we agreed on a price, I decided to leave a deposit to hold the car while I made arrangements to fly up to Chicago and buy the car to drive back (Nate offered to help with delivery, but I chose to save the money and make a road trip of it.) To my surprise, they were perfectly willing to hold it for 2 weeks for me with only a small deposit, which saved me from buying an expensive short notice flight ticket. Nate kept in touch w/ me throughout the 2 weeks and got my flight information and picked me up from O'Hare!! (and even bought me coffee on the way!). We arrived at the dealership and I was so happy to see my car sitting front and center in the showroom, newly detailed, looking spotless and gorgeous! We sate down at Nate's desk and got ready to finalize the paperwork. That's when I really became impressed w/ their service. I had a loan check to finance the car that I brought with me. Unfortunately, it was cosigned w/ my wife, and although she had signed the check, I had no idea that the lender issuing the check actually required her to sign all the title and purchase documents as well. That was a BIG problem since she was still in New Mexico. The only other way to drive away that day and not stay in Chicago while we overnighted documents was for me to get my own financing so my wife's signature wasn't needed. Unfortunately, this was a challenge because I am in between jobs and was a few months away from starting my new job and thus had only a job offer letter, but no pay stubs. This was a problem for all the banks. But these guys didn't give up on me, and they easily could have told me that it was my fault and I'd just have to bunk up in Chicago while my wife shipped documents to us. Instead, they worked tirelessly all day to try and give me the keys to the car that day. With the help of Nate, Hector (finance) and Eric Kitter (sales manager), I was able to make it work. It was a mistake on my part, and no fault of their own, but they literally spent the ENTIRE day (I was at the dealership from 11 am to 8pm!) and they gave me their help and attention the whole time. After spending all day on the phone w/ lenders, they finally, they called the owner of the dealership who personally came in and talked to their contact at the local bank to convince them that I am credible and worthy of getting financed even without proof of income. After a long day of receiving a lot of help from them, I was finally ready to drive away in my 350Z. I really appreciated all the help they gave me, and would highly recommend NATE for your sale. He even called to check on me along the road until I got home in New Mexico safely. As for the car, it's a great car, in great shape. The price was also very good, and in general, am very pleased w/ all aspects of this rather unique and complicated sale, thanks to the help of everyone at the Autobarn. More
