I tagged along with my older brother when he was car shopping in 2008 and we ended up at Autobarn Evanston. I remember when I was there that the customer service was great and just the over all mood of shopping in 2008 and we ended up at Autobarn Evanston. I remember when I was there that the customer service was great and just the over all mood of buying a car was relaxing so to say. I was shopping for my own new/used car recently and have visited numerous Nissan dealerships in IL, I have to say I would have saved myself a lot of time and hassle if I just went to Autobarn Nissan in the first place. Buying a car from Autobarn Evanston is unlike any other car buying experience I have had elsewhere. I would definitely recommend any smart and educated consumer to stop into Autobarn first, either new or used car the experience is much more than any other regular dealership has offered me thus far. The promises were kept to the exact word, the up to date customer service and follow ups are outstanding, and the sales, service, and even finance staff are just amazing. More

I can not say enough about this dealership and their incredible sales staff. I had been car shopping for weeks, going to different dealerships and dealing with your “typical” car salesmen who were tryi incredible sales staff. I had been car shopping for weeks, going to different dealerships and dealing with your “typical” car salesmen who were trying to sell me lemons left and right. I actually came to Evanston as a left ditch effort. Low and behold I came across Matt Brown, a friendly (and cute too, I might add) sales rep. He was the perfect sales guy, knowledgeable, professional, but still funny enough to ease the tension during such a big purchase. Once I was set on a car, his amazing coworker Hiko came in and helped me get my monthly payment to a place I felt comfortable with! I walked away with a terrific deal and in love with my new Nissan, could not be happier! More

I had been shopping since February for my Nissan Rogue. I I had been shopping since February for my Nissan Rogue. I had been to five different dealerships and had driven seven different Rogues. I have real I had been shopping since February for my Nissan Rogue. I had been to five different dealerships and had driven seven different Rogues. I have really light credit and had been denied by other dealers for a newer Rogue. At this point I had come to terms with my awful luck with finding my car and said this was my going to Evanston (a 45 min drive from my house) was my last hope. I had already dealt with a car dealer who gave up hope on me when I told him my price range, another call you everyday to see if you're coming in dealer, and lastly a car dealer who did not have the means to get a Nissan Rogue in my price range so tried to sell me on a Rav4 or Honda CRV. I'm a girl that knows what what I want and that's it. Then there was Disa. My sister had done some researching online and found the perfect car for me. We set up a meeting with Disa for the next day. We got to the dealership and asked to check out the car I had seen online. I took the car (a pearl colored 2011 Nissan Rogue) for a test drive and fell in love. The brakes were better than the brand new Rogues I had previously driven. Disa didn't try to up sell me on a different car. She understood this car was perfect for me. I didn't have time to sit through finance that day but gave her as much information as I could have processed without me being there. I worked all weekend and was so stressed about the car. I called her a few times to confirm I was approved and if I came in on Monday I would be leaving with a car. She assured me I would but I still had my doubts. I showed up a half hour late on Monday and the finance department was in a meeting. To my surprise Disa and Katy told my boyfriend and I to go grab lunch and they would take care of it. WOW! Seriously, it was probably my fault because we were late and now were getting lunch? I was shocked. By the time we got back I was so nervous because of the car and also I had to get back home for work in just a few hours. Once we did get back the ball got rolling and I left with my dream car. I left so elated. I finally had "my car". The car didn't come with mats but Disa made sure I got some which was great. I am new at this whole car buying thing and assumed I would have temp plates until mine came in but they put them on right there. Yay! One less thing I would have to worry about. I just had such an wonderful experience at this dealership I just wish I would've gone there sooner. Disa made me feel like I was with an old friend understanding what I wanted and needed. Not your stereotypical car dealer that just wants to sell you something. I will definitely be sending any family or friends there if they are in the market for a new car. We talked about what I needed and wanted in a vehicle, and from that point on, I knew that I was in good hands. I really felt that my opinion mattered and they wanted me to be happy with my choice. And I am. There is a lack of good customer service in most all industries today, but, I must say, I am impressed with Disa, my sales person, and her sales manager, Yassen. Respect is something that is earned and you have certainly earned mine. Kuddos to you. I will be back... More
I shopped for 2 months before stopping by the Autobarn. I wished I went there first. The second I stepped into the dealership, I felt completely welcomed. I walked in to look at cars with no intention to I wished I went there first. The second I stepped into the dealership, I felt completely welcomed. I walked in to look at cars with no intention to buy, but I walked out 2 hours later with a car. I also walked in thinking I would get a small new versa since I had set an amount I did not want to exceed. Instead, I met Disa. She sat me down and was nice enough to fit me with a car that actually fit my need and my personality. She went through the entire inventory and asked if I was willing to give her a chance to show me something better and at the same price range. I immediately fell in love with the car she suggested I test drive. She was extremely helpful and against all odds, made the process enjoyable. She answered all my questions with extremely honesty, unrivaled professionalism, and complete transparency. You can't buy service and honesty like that. To this day, Disa calls me every other week to ask how I am, if I'm satisfied with my car, and see if there is anything she can do to help me. I ended up buying the rogue, and 3 days later, everything Disa told me about the safety and sturdy build of my rogue was proven true. I was rear ended by a BMW. The BMW had a scrunched up hood, leaking fluid, broken headlights, and bent tires. All my rogue had were a few scratches and a minor dent. That incident proved that I had gotten the right car and that would not have happened if I hadn't had Disa help me find the car that truly fit my need and kept me safe. Not only is the sales team there amazing, but the same can be said of their service team. Every time I'm there, they treat me with professionalism and honesty. They spend the time to explain everything they did and they are extremely thorough with their work. You never have to worry about them pushing for unnecessary work. They are extremely honest and though they may be a few dollars more than the generic service centers, they know their cars inside and out. Those few extra dollars will end up saving you hundreds when compared to taking your car to places that trick you into doing unnecessary work. They also care about the customer. They are considerate enough to send reminders for service and have a great roadside assistance program, tire replacement program, and covered rental car program as long as you keep your car serviced. My experience with the Autobarn Nissan in Evanston has made me a loyal customer for life. I wouldn't go anywhere else and I tell everybody that they are the place to go for anything you need.
