The Autobarn Nissan of Evanston

I was in the market for a new car and stopped in at the Autobarn. It was a great experience from the get go. I worked with Katy Callinan and to a lesser extent Mike Lawless (sales manager). The first thing I noticed about Katy was that she is not your typical "sales person". I am the type of person that asks a million questions, and she patiently and knowledgeably answered them all. I decided on a 2013 Nissan Altima SL. Katy and Mike went WAY above and beyond in tracking down the exact color, model, and trim of the car I had my heart set on. I sat in the office with them for hours as I watched them call dealer after dealer to try find me the car I wanted (which they eventually did)! I can honestly say that at the Autobarn, they are more interested in building a relationship with you and making sure you're truly happy rather than trying to sell you a car that you don't want. In February 2013 I visited Grossinger. I didnot like the idea of purchasing a vehicle I didnot like or want. Also, downpayment was too high and the vehicle was 7 years old. I received correspondence from Roy Allegretti. I left my phone number with him on Monday night and he returned my call immediately. We made an appointment for 3/19/13. Roy made me feel important. He was very professional. He selected a car that I fell in love with. Roy was very nice and knew so much about the car he wanted me to see and drive. I was not disappointed at all. The Nissan Altima drives great, easy to handle and rides so smooth. I wanted to purchase the vehicle after driving five blocks. The price was good and I left the dealership with the assurance that I purchased a great car that would be considered as very dependable. Also, a car that would last a long time. I chose to give the rating because I was very happy with the service, time taken by Roy offering information and he answered my questions in detail. He was very patient and he didnot rush with his answers to my questions. Also, I am very pleased with the vehicle I purchased, customer service, quality of service and friendlessness was excellent. I am grateful for the opportunity to purchase such a great looking car as the 2010 Nissan Altima. In my opionion, it is a luxury car. Mr. Roy Allegretti not only made my day but my year! After buying my last 6 cars at Grossinger I needed a change. After looking on the WEB site and narrowing down some vehicles. I descided to come to AUTOBARN NISSAN EVANSTON to look around. My first visit I met Bruce Wittmeyer who made me feel right at home. I told him what I was looking for and he showed me what they had. I told him I would come back later with my wife. When we came back the car we were interested in sold so we decided to wait and left. Then 4 days later I received a call from Roy Allegretti and he asked if I was busy, and if not, could I come in right away because he had something I might be interested in. I said I wasn't busy and I could be there in 15 min's. I walked in and met Roy and again I was made to feel right at home. We talked a few minutes and he then took me to the car that he called about. We then went for a test drive and it was just what I wanted. Then back in the office we challenged each other a little bit on price & trade-in and after both of us got comfortable he then asked me for the Sale. Roy Allegretti was very Professional, Kind and Very Understanding. So I told him we had a deal. So to sum it up the rest of the sale was seamless and didn't take to long. Myself and my wife WILL recommend AUTOBARN NISSAN OF EVANSTON to everyone. Oh, by the way, we bought a 2010 Nissan Rouge and love it. More
