This was our second car purchased through Bruce Wittmeyer at Autobarn Nissan. The first purchase was two years ago. I was looking for a used car for my daughter. Bruce called me a couple of days later and said he had the car. Perfect car (Pathfinder) and perfect price. The purchase was smooth and easy. Last week, we purchased a new Murano through Bruce. Once again, we called him and let him know we were in the market for a car. Bruce came through again. We wanted a newer used car (limited miles and certified). Bruce gave us an overview of today's used car market and suggested we compare the used to new. He was right. We got a great price and great service. Bruce even scheduled our first oil change. Car price was real deal. But when i stepped into dealership all the information given to me over phone was a trap. First they told me only credit score will be checked to get 1.99% apr but when i dr dealership all the information given to me over phone was a trap. First they told me only credit score will be checked to get 1.99% apr but when i drove there from madison i was told certification must be taken to get that apr even if i had great credit score. Second they told me over phone i had choice of either getting certification or bumper to bumper but after reaching there i was told bumper to bumper is only available if i take certification. Bunch of liars. Since finance was good enought to adjust everything after little bit of bargaining ( which is only good thing) i purchased the car. And there were not mats in the car which you just spent 30K. When i asked sales person, she said she would send me once they get them. Then the process of me calling her every 3 days started to know about mats. But in 2 weeks she started getting irritated and tells me mats cost more and there is more cost to ship them since those are heavy and i dont think so we are able to do that. Now before i got car she was all ready to do everything but after i bought car all the promises were void. Also i had really hard time getting information about my registartion. If you have to talk to Shirley or Julia for your registration, just forget it to get any response from them . After 7 days of calling, finally email was answered. They will answer email ( means title) but not calls. Price was i found the good deal but the service wise from sales, it was not good. More
I had a nissan pahtfinder 2008 with 76tplus miles, i am almost done paying my car next year, but then my monthly payment is really so high $749/month , and i got letter via mail from Allied Auto Finance of almost done paying my car next year, but then my monthly payment is really so high $749/month , and i got letter via mail from Allied Auto Finance offering me to refinance my car, and i said to myself why not. i filled out the application online then i called them to fasten the process. they advised me to visit AUTOBARN in evanston and look for LISA and KISSY, both are very friendly and gave me some options. But i instead and told them that i am not buying a car i just want to re-finance, and i will only get for NISSAN PATHFINDER and not open for any other cars/make. Then LIsa referred me to SLAVI KUKOV, before he can say anything i already told him that, I AM NOT INTERESTED OF CHANGING MY CAR, AND INCASE I WOULD CHANGE IT I WILL ONLY GO FOR A PATHFINDER 2013. Slavi insisted ,i test drive the new 2013 and it felt so nice and easy. so i was thinking why not give it a try. i am one of the people who does not have the best CREDIT SCORE, so bottom line, i waited for like 2 hrs. and BOOM. SLAVI came to me and told me, You will love this , he showed me a sheet of paper showing me how much my monthly ($650/month for 72 months). i was thinking humm i little more ,then i will be convinced by this sales rep. and then he gave me a another offer lowering my deposit by $500.00 and my monthly to $640.00 and i said WOW is this real. And thats time he finally got me to said YES IM GETTING A NEW PATHFINDER. i went home using a dealership car since the color i want was not available. the next day when i finally got my car, they made me crazier , instead of me paying $640.00/month the nice finance manager was able to haggle my monthly from $640.00 to $609.00. WOW thanks so much AUTOBARN NIssan. just to let you know , this is the 3rd pathfinder i had and i have been to 3 nissan dealers and so far this is the best DEALER for me and the best salesperson Slavi KUKOV and also the best finance person (i forgot his name, but thank you so much). I hope the service department will also give the best service . AUTOBARN NISSAN -EVANSTON, i will surely comeback for more and thanks so much. More
I have had the pleasure of working Roy Allegretti with a recent used vehicle purchase. Roy was very knowledgeable and patient with me and all my questions. At no time did I feel any pressure to make a decision. I really feel that I made a friend that day and would love to go back and buy him lunch sometime. I also had a wonderful experience working with Tony Antonov. Tony is one of the hardest working people I have ever seen. He never stopped moving the whole time I was there. Tony is a Business Manager and helped me with financing my new purchase. I never signed anything that I didnt completely understand or agree with. I felt I was in good hands with Tony. When I left The Autobarn I felt almost like I had gained two new family members. I highly recomend The Autobarn in Evanston, IL. to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. After having the worst experience of our lives at a Nissan dealership in St Charles, I called your dealership just to ask a question. Roy answered the phone, told us to come in and he would have us out of there in no time with the car we were looking for and an affordable price. We got there and did not have one bad experience. We test drove a car did the paper work and drove home in a 2010 Nissan Rogue. Roy was outstanding. I know car salesmen sometimes get a bad rap because they just want to make a sale. He put everything out on the table for us and told us if we couldn't or didn't want to do it that's fine. He was not pushy at all unlike the experience we had earlier in the day at the other dealership. It's a great, friendly, clean place. I would definitely go there again. On April 10, 2013, I was involved in a accident that caused my car to be totaled out. I was at my wits end because I did not have another car and could not afford a huge down payment for another one. I called Richard Kirkpatrick on April 21st and explained what was going on. He had me to complete an application online and within 2 days found a car that I could easily afford. On April 24th, I drove out to Evanston and met with a sales person Richard set me up with named Savio who was incredible. He made the whole process seem effortless and was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I have been an Autobarn customer for well over 20 years ever since Richard was in Chicago on Grand Avenue. The whole experience from the first phone call with Richard , to meeting with Savio, to finally sitting down at the end with the credit manager was great. Never have I ever went to a dealership at 7pm in the evening and drove out with the car by 10pm, the whole process was quick and efficient. I appreciate all that was done for me and would like to thank everyone involved, even if I cannot remember your names. I would recommend The Autobarn of Evanston to anyone and everyone who is looking for a vehicle and want great professional service. More
On May 25th the Auto barn Nissan made a lifetime customer! Slavi is the BEST sales person I have ever worked with. I cannot say nearly enough Good things about the folks at Autobarn Nissan and Bruce Wittmeyer in particular. The Autobarn was among many dealerships I visited after my wife was rear-ended on LSD, which totaled our 'reliable' car a week after my 'beater' broke down for what we thought would be the last time. I was shopping on a tight budget and with short time-frame in which to find what we needed and I was disheartened by the preponderance high-pressure and/or disinterested salespeople I ran into at all the other dealerships I visited. Then I met Bruce Wittmeyer at the Autobarn and we totally hit it off. Not only did he genuinely listen to me about my needs and the details of my situation but he responded with patience, honestly and a genuine sense of good service. When I started my shopping, I was worried I'd be lucky to just to end up with a car I didn't regret. But Bruce helped me get the car of my dreams: a Nissan LEAF! Whatever is the polar opposite of buyer's remorse... that is what I have. Go get a LEAF from Bruce and thank me later. The future is NOW and it is ELECTRIC! More

I worked with disa and told her about my requirements. She I'd the best person I have ever met. I would recommend anyone who goes to autobarn please let disa help you. She understands the customers need, and will give you the honest opinion. Disa is very friendly and very hard working lady. She changed my worst experiences with different dealers to a hassle free one at her location. I was able to buy the car because of her. Else I would never purchase the car from autobarn. More
