Worst Car dealership, I have ever been in my life. Randy, the service advisor (overall ratings: 0) This is my first car and i purchased my another car last year from Autobarn Nissan on Evanston. Las Randy, the service advisor (overall ratings: 0) This is my first car and i purchased my another car last year from Autobarn Nissan on Evanston. Last week, i left my Nissan Altima because i was noticing water leakage on the right side (front and back) of my car. I explained all my problems to him. Similarly, he had different info. on my profile and i asked him to change my number. After leaving my car for 5 days, he called me stating my car is ready. I went to the dealership and made the payment($149 for the water leakage) before entering to my car. When i went to my car, water leakage was still there. And i immediately called him and he even noticed that it hasn't been fixed yet. He went to call the mechanic(Arturo). After his presence, randy started telling that it is a moisture, no the leakage. Arturo was helpful and he even said he will look towards my car if i got the same problem after driving after few days. I was pretty much sure, the advisor was not doing what he was suppose to. He blamed one of my buddy who came to Chicago on the same day and he was with me at that moment to pick up my car, saying that he talked with him on the phone. Randy is truly not a good advisor. Having someone like him on Nissan Dealer is going to bring huge negative impacts on their business. Due to the leakage i had to leave my car today again (06/01/2017, Thursday) and Don (service advisor) said that he will call me on Saturday to make sure about the problem. I am pretty sure, this will be my last visit on that location. Similarly, i am regretting that i referred my family members to buy vehicles from that place. In order to have my ac leakage fixed, i had to leave my car for more than a week, its been a waste of my time and i won't be going to Autobarn Nissan on Evanston. I would like to request the responsible department to examine and take a possible action for the service that your service advisor have been providing to you customers. This dealership do not deserve even a single star. More

In addition car drop off area is clean and the customer waiting area is very comfortable with comfortable seating and refreshments. More

My only complaint is that I made an appointment online yet still had to wait an hour just for an oil change. I guess I figured since I set up the time in advance it would only take 30 minutes or less but apparently not. Otherwise everything was great. More
Do not trust them ! Before the holidays I bought a car at the Autoban Nissan of Evanston. The salesperson was Victor. I bought a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. I asked Victor if the car was 100% functional and he said that it absolutely was. After finalizing the sale I went to get the car and I noticed there was a fresh scratch on it. Victor said that they will take care of it, but I will have to come back another time, this turned out to be the beginning of many problems for me. Shortly after leaving the dealership during the first stop at a red light on Dampster, I attempted to reverse and it turned out that the back-up camera was not working, and Victor knew about this because he was parking the car the day before and had to use the back-up camera feature. From that spot I called Victor and he told me that they will take care of it. Making my way home I decided to pop in a CD into the CD player and another “surprise” hit me. The CD player was not working, there was an “error” message on the screen. After another phone call with the dealer, I informed him that I am leaving town on vacation, he insisted I take the car in, leave it at the dealership and when I return everything will be fixed. After about 2 weeks I come back to town and Victor tells me that the scratch is fixed, but I have to go to the Hyundai dealer with the rest of the issues and they will fix all of them there. At the Hyundai dealer, they fixed the back up camera but the CD player was not fixed because the 30K mile warranty has expired. I called Victor one more time and he again assured me that everything will be taken care of. I left my car with them again and they were supposed to fix it. I go back there for about the sixth time, and the manager was part of the conversation this time. They told me that they were going to take the car to the Hyundai dealer service but someone was not there and that they couldn’t do it at the time. After a few weeks of continuous phone calls to them, I finally hear from Victor that “we can’t do anything more about it”. The manager told me that it’s normal that cars break, which sounded like he was getting at the fact that all of these issues started occurring after leaving the dealership for the very first time after the sale. This whole situation lasted about two months, all I can say is that you should avoid them at all cost, they are regular liars and cheaters. More

For many years, I have dealt with Don when my vehicles needed servicing. He has handled everything from the scheduling of an appointment, attentively listening to problems and troubleshooting them, gives the right estimate of how much time it will take, thoroughly explains the work that needs to be done as well as the cost, is considerate of ones' time and if a car is needed, Don is honest with his recommendations on what service should be done right away, and what needs to be watched, and keeps your pocketbook in mind. He is always welcoming, calm, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The car always comes back spotless with the problems resolved. Really, Autobarn Nissan has a gem working in its department. Thank you Don and staff for a winning combination! More
