At the time of sale, if found the advertised price was inflated by trying to include items like automobile tracking as "mandatory" rather than an option, and that is annoying. As with most dealerships, the after sales add-ons such as extended warranty could be presented with much greater transparency at the time of sale, rather than having to walk across the street to finance and deal with a separate set of people. I know this is the traditional norm, but takes extra time and makes the final price of the entire purchase less than fully transparent. More

Service Experience I was surprised (after last owning a car through Fields Chrysler) how poor the service was for car owners. The wait for an oil change and tire rotatio I was surprised (after last owning a car through Fields Chrysler) how poor the service was for car owners. The wait for an oil change and tire rotation was one hour and ten minutes--far exceeding any other car place I have ever been for the exact same service. Further, the women's bathroom was not clean and out of tissue paper (this was a Monday at 10 am--surprising the weekend staff didn't prepare for the week). Lastly, the refrigerator where I assume drinks were meant to be for customers was instead full of employee lunches and personal drinks. I am very surprised about this service experience as my family has lived in the Evanston/Wilmette area since 1970, and we have purchased several cars here before. After experiencing Fields, I cannot express enough how much improvement could take place at Nissan to make owners feel welcomed and appreciated. As advice, I would have a Nissan employee walk into Fields and note the difference. More
Overpriced Service No real value for what you pay for. Everything is over priced. Simple transmission flush is 4 times the cost as service centers that specializes in transmissions. Simple diagnosis was quoted at $400+. Find a good mechanic and go with them. Took my vehicle in to a transmission center the day after I took my car to this dealer and was back on the road in a few hours for a fraction of price I was quoted at dealer. Diagnosis was free as well. Warranty on work as well. Nice ppl but this place is a money grab. More
