I had my ‘15 Murano detailed and the price was unbeatable ($99.95). Anywhere else it’s at least $200 and the place I went to before Nissan totally destroyed the wiring in my car with careless power washing. ($99.95). This vehicle was purchased at The Auto Barn Nissan of Evanston located 1012 Chicago Ave. in Evanston, IL 60202. I brought this to the salesman's attention, he apologized and asked me to bring it in so they could address it. I was told this would be corrected in one day. They had my new truck for three days and nobody called me to update me or even tell me it was ready. I had to call them and then the salesman (Mr. Alex Meyer) was surprised it was not resolved and I did not have the truck back. This is ridiculous! Alex took my truck, why is he not being updated and passing that information on? Then in three days I am thinking the truck is new so maybe they will replace the shade with a new one. NO, they just sent it to a someone who just scrubbed the shade to death. I can still see the scrub marks on a new truck so no I am not happy with it. The man hours that went into this could have gotten this replaced and done. I have had the truck back now for three days and no follow up call, again ridiculous. After bringing this to Mr. Meyer’s attention he turned it over to a manager, Mr. Ray Baylock. I again explained the situation to Mr. Baylock and he asked what he could do to resolve the issue. I explained please replace the screen. The entire truck is new, and these spots are in the roof stand out. How will they look in a year, will they turn yellow or a dark again? Mr. Baylock said he will take care of it. Mr. Baylock arranged for someone to come and pick up my truck and drop off a loaner. They kept my truck for 7 days and returned it with the same spots. This looks like nothing was done, and now my call and text have gone unanswered. Over the past 27 years I have purchased 6 Nissans. Ranging from the Sentra to now the Murano. It seems Mr. Baylock has chosen to waste my time and blow me off without an explanation. I purchased this truck 26 days ago and Evanston Nissan has had it for 10 of those days and have done very little to to correct this issue. The number of man hours that has gone into this how come this could not be replaced? I am writing to express my concern for the level of poor service that is being exercised. I love taking my Nissan Rogue to Autobarn of Evanston for service, they always know just what my car needs, because I am a returning Customer as well. If I make a appointment there is no wait time or just ve service, they always know just what my car needs, because I am a returning Customer as well. When your car is finished being serviced it always runs very well, plus it is clean inside and washed on the outside. The Guy's are very Professional they know their job. Two Thumbs up!
