Everything was handled over the phone since i was an out of state buyer of a used vehicle. All insurance etc was ready on arrival. It took nearly 3hrs to sign the purchase paperwork and leave. June 16th, 2021, purchased vehicle with 71, 922 miles. Purchased extended warranty. During test drive Steering light was displayed on dash. Salesman (John Adamidis said the steering system would reset Purchased extended warranty. During test drive Steering light was displayed on dash. Salesman (John Adamidis said the steering system would reset itself after 200 miles and the light would turn off. On July 6, 2021 I scheduled a service appointment for July 15th. 29 days after vehicle purchase odometer at 74,714 Steering light still displayed on dashboard. Manager at Nissan Service told me that he is unable to correct the steering issue since the make of the car is a Volkswagon and his shop does not have the tools to properly diagnose and correct the issue. Joe recommends bringing the car to a Volkswagon dealership for service. I made the service appointment well in advance. My request should have been reviewed well in advance and I should have been notified and avoided the drive. At the time of sale, I should have notified that the dealership does not service Volkswagen. The service center is a 1 hour drive each way. 90 miles round trip. More
