My visit to the Autobarn Nissan of Evanston was great. Appointment to replace the windshield (huge crack). Service Department called to set the appointment for Wednesday, but asked for morning or afternoon. I asked to check and call back. Called back 3 minutes later, said 1 PM, Service Department confirmed. My son arrives on Wednesday at 12:45, Service Department said they didn't have the appointment. Service Department sets the appointment for following Monday. My son didn't realize that was Labor Day. I called the Service Department to see if they were open on Labor Day - No. Tuesday after Labor Day, Service Department calls me to set the appointment, choose Thursday at 1 PM. I remind her that the windshield replacement requires extra work in scheduling the tech. Thursday at 1 PM, appointment is good, windshield is replaced, takes 3.5 hours. Satisfied with the work, but scheduling is an issue. More
