Ok, I have had many new car experiences. I have been to several different dealerships. I have had horrible experiences, mediocre experiences, and now I've had the best experience ever! Autobarn is defini several different dealerships. I have had horrible experiences, mediocre experiences, and now I've had the best experience ever! Autobarn is definitely where I will be going from now on for all my future vehicle purchases. They went out of their way to make sure that I was happy and content every minute I was there. Everyone there seemed happy and very friendly. Kissy is absolutely the nicest car salesperson I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy anything from Autobarn. More
Lisa and Kissy were great! They were very pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and they made sure I was happy with everything. I would give them all fives if this were only a review of them. Doug, wh work with, knowledgeable and they made sure I was happy with everything. I would give them all fives if this were only a review of them. Doug, who finalized the deal and did the paperwork, was very unpleasant. He didn't explain anything to me and didn't really answer my questions. I felt that he didn't want me to be there and was pretty rude, frankly. He is the reason I can't go with all fives. Aside from dealing with him, the rest of the experience was great and I love my car! More
I would recommend this dealership because when we walked in, I was looking for a used 2005 Mazda6, but it wound up not being ready for sale. Lewis was there to help me through and find a new 2011 Mazda3, which wasn't exactly what I had in mind because it was missing the most important feature for my car: alloy wheels. I was about to leave and go back home, but, what made it the best experience was that if you're able to talk long enough, and show you're committed to buying a new car with these guys, they will make sure that you get what you want; they were able to put alloy wheels on the Mazda3 even though it didn't come standard on this model, and yet, they still kept the price within what we wanted. Thus, highly recommended for anyone willing to talk with the salesman. More

A year and half ago i purchased my first car after graduating from college. I purchased a 2010 Mazda 3 at the Autobarn of Countryside. I had the worst experience and vowed i would NEVER purchase ano graduating from college. I purchased a 2010 Mazda 3 at the Autobarn of Countryside. I had the worst experience and vowed i would NEVER purchase another car from them. The Autobarn of Evanston is actually on my way to work, so i figured i would go there for service since i have 3 free oil changes. I was very surprised on the difference in customer service between the two. Evanston has always been helpful and willing to do whatever I needed for my car (many times for no charge to me) About a month ago i received a call from the Evanston location saying i had qualified for their pull ahead program, where i could trade my 2010 Mazada 3 (with almost 30K...i drove a lot) for a new 2011 at a lower monthly payment. I was intrigued and went in last night to see what they could do. I drove out of there with a brand new fully loaded Grand Touring for $30 more then i was paying previously. I could not be more happy! I would definitely recommend the Autobarn of Evanston to ANYONE. I personally worked with Kissy-Lisa Freeman, Jon Zimmerman and Mike Allegretti. They were all extremely helpful and very apologetic for the way i was treated at there sister location in Countryside. I also left there last night with a years worth of free oil changes, ANOTHER free tank of gas and free car washes for the life of the car. Very Impressed! More
I dealt with another Autobarn at Countryside and despite I dealt with another Autobarn at Countryside and despite my mother buying a Mazda 6 in 2006 and me following with buying one as well, the dealer wo I dealt with another Autobarn at Countryside and despite my mother buying a Mazda 6 in 2006 and me following with buying one as well, the dealer would not budge on my price for a new 1012 Mazda 5 Grand Touring. E-mailed other dealers and got a fast response. Called back and talked with Tyse who agreed to the price I was asking over the phone promising no tricks or gimmicks. Because I live 30 miles away from Evanston I didn't really want to drive that far but he guaranteed that if I come the same day he will have the car for me all ready and at the price. Being very sceptical especially after my experience in Countryside I got in the car and drove at 5pm from South side of Chicago. I was even more apprehensive since other dealers quotes were off by minimum of $700 and I was told by Pugi dealer that if Evanston is willing to sell me that car at the price I was asking I should go. Driving over an hour to Evanston I finally arrived with my wife. Was met by Tyse as well as greeted by the general manager. Immediately I was taken to their garage where they showed me the car I intended to purchase. Brand new 2012 Mazda 5 Grand touring in red with sand interior. Tyse asked if I wanted to test drive it but I declined since I already drove one in Countryside. After a few minutes I was led to the finance department where we were made to wait for about 30 minutes since it seemed 3 of their finance people were handling documents. During the wait I got some coffee (they have great choices in snacks as well) as well as played XBox kinect boxing on their large screen. After 30 minutes or so we were called in and here is the final experience. The price I was quoted was EXACTLY what was on the paper. No gimmicks and no pressure or tricks of any kind. I researched the lowest prices one can buy the vehicle for beforehand and I paid $130 over what Consumer reports listed as the Best buying price (the closest one dealer came was by &700 dollars more). The finance person (sorry forgot his name--Russian) was extremely friendly and although he did attempt to sell me an extended warranty when I declined he put no pressure at all and continued with the contract. The whole buying process took no more than 20-25 minutes and when I walked out of the finance department my new car was waiting for me with a full tank of gas. Tyse along with another sales person explained all the features of the car again as plates were being installed. Finally after 10 minutes or so I got the keys and zoomed zoomed away. Overall I am beyond impressed about the sales department at Evanston and would return at an instance to buy another Mazda from them. It was not the only dealer who offered the lowest price (and trust me I got a great price since I researched using various sources as well as consumer reports price car report) but what I am even more impressed with is that there were no gimmicks, no bait and switches and all the other tools of trade dealers usually work on you with. The price was exactly what was discussed on the phone. The payments were exactly as I had calculated myself. Totally great experience. I regret that I wasn't treated this way at Autobarn at Countryside since I was a returning customer. As I was finalizing my contract I got a message from my mother who informed me that the Countryside dealer called willing to talk prices again. After wasting my time for 4 hours the 2 day before I will return their call tomorrow letting them know I love my new car, the price I paid for it and the treatment I received. More
