I bought a Mazda3 from this dealer in 2009 and had a very positive experience. They were able to lower my monthly payments and get me into a delightful little car. A few weeks ago (and only about 15000 miles later), I received a phone call from Kissy about their "Pull-ahead" program, which meant that I would get a new car, lower monthly payments, 0% interest, and, oh yeah, A BRAND-NEW CAR. I figured I would hear her out and see if the program made sense for me. I eventually drove away with a 2012 Mazda3 for which I am paying less per month, 0% interest, no money down, and it's real pretty. Lisa and Kissy were both very low-pressure and reasonable throughout the process (that is, I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of or pressured into accepting a deal that I didn't like). I also met the manager, Mike Something, and he was also very pleasant and low-pressure. They let me take the car home for the night and think about it (when it became clear that I wasn't going to make the firm decision to buy during our initial meeting) and I came back the next day to buy it. The only down side of this experience was that there was a lot of waiting involved. I was left alone for 15 mins on the first day while someone went to pull the car around, which was a little weird.... I mean, I was planning on spending some money here, no one could even pull up a chair and shoot the breeze with me while they found someone to go get the car for a test drive? Additionally, a new customer came in while I was sitting there alone on the second day. No one said hello to her or asked her if she needed any help, so I started chatting with her until someone finally came over. It was 11am and no one else was with a customer. Maybe they're working on salary and don't care about making a sale? Finance Man (I forget his name but he was Russian) was very nice, offered plenty of information, and made everything very painless. Kissy came back when all the papers were signed and she helped me move all the crap from my old car into my new one, which was a nice touch. Perhaps in another three years I will get my next car from them as well. More

When going to the finance department, I was greeted warmly and explained all of my options. When I refused the extended warranty the warmness quickly disappeared from the room. Just because I didn't want to buy something extra, when I was already spending so much, shouldn't have changed our exchanges. When I completed the paperwork and returned to work with Kissy, I was once again feeling great about my purchase. She introduced me to the service department and to the sales manager. Then I was shown to my car, which was now sparkling. Kissy continued to show me more features in my new car and made sure I was comfortable driving away in my new car. I would highly recommend The Autobarn Mazda in Evanston and an even higher recommendation for Kissy. More

This was my first time buying a new car, and Kissy and Lisa made it as easy as possible. They did their best to meet out budgetary needs, and I never felt they were too "car salesmanlike". This was the second new Mazda I have purchased from the Autobarn Mazda. A few years ago I purchased a new Mazda 3 and we just traded that in for a new CX7. Both visits the staff has always been friendly and professional. Kissy was helpful and knowledgeable about the vehicles and the financing process. Kissy took the time to really listen to what we wanted in a vehicle for our family and she never once tried to up sell or push stupid dealer tricks. She was even so nice to show us on the lot each color that was available in the exact model we were ready to purchase. This was by the far the fastest car buying trip I have ever been on. We are extremely happy with the car and we are happy with the overall purchase. I would also add since I am familiar with the dealership from my last car the staff is always nice and friendly when you come in for service. I have always had a pleasant experience with every service visit and have enjoyed the free wi-fi and coffee. Also if you have to bring your children with you they have plenty to keep them busy. Ours enjoyed the snacks and video games and did not complain once, they are also thrilled with the new car. More
