Long wait with no updates I had a bad experince a few months ago for a simple oil change. The only reason I returned was for work that was covered by the vehicle's warranty. I had a bad experince a few months ago for a simple oil change. The only reason I returned was for work that was covered by the vehicle's warranty. Again, quite disappointing. No one greeted me upon entering the garage. I went inside and was finally checked-in. I DID have an appointment, too. They were definitely short staffed. I was informed the work would take 1-2 hours. After 2.5 hours with NO updates, I went to a service advisor to find out what was happening. I was told 25 more minutes. Well, 55 minutes later, I saw my vehicle pulled around front, meaning the work was finally finished. 20 minutes later, I had to approach a service advisor AGAIN to tell them my car was ready. All in all, a frustrating experience. Once the warranty is expired, I will not return to this location for service! More
Well worth the drive to Evanston Staff is friendly and they know what you are talking about even if you don't. The waiting area is amazing and they wash your car after servicing it. Broken And Away From Home While on a visit in Chicago my check engine light came on and the car began to run badly. Soon all of the dashboard lights were flashing off and on. While on a visit in Chicago my check engine light came on and the car began to run badly. Soon all of the dashboard lights were flashing off and on. I contacted the Mazda dealership and they sent me to their service center. From the moment I arrived the service I received was excellent. I was listened to, and kept informed during the process. They were able to diagnose what was happening, get it fixed and work with my warranty company to have them pay for it. PB was my contact there and he went above and beyond to work with me even though I had to leave Chicago and go back home while it was being repaired. I would highly recommend their service. More

Don't like to be lied to! I understand that this was a recall service. I did question since it was a big job involving the front end whether a wheel alignment would be done. Fi I understand that this was a recall service. I did question since it was a big job involving the front end whether a wheel alignment would be done. First I was told it shouldn't matter(which is not true) but that it would be done as a courtesy. When I was told the car was ready, I called back to make sure that the wheel alignment had in fact been done. This time I was told that it was done as part of the scope of work of the recall and that the car was ready. When I went in to pick up my car I asked for the print-out from the wheel alignment. Then they admitted that they didn't think it was done and that they would do it but I would have to wait. WHY DID I CALL TO MAKE SURE THE CAR WAS READY?? ANSWER-to avoid this so I wouldn't be late for work. I must admit that they did move quickly to get it in to get the alignment done but come on guys-you can do so much better! Don't lie to people when they call. That is just irritating!! More
