My Dealership participates in the DealerRater Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at their dealership. I did meet with you and your husband Wednesday, Jan. 23rd,while your vehicle was in our shop. I do want to work this out so that you feel like you have been taken care of. To address some of the grievances listed against us is the AutoCheck report vs. the CarFax report. Please understand, this is 3rd party information. We are trying to show every customer an autoCheck, and even have it on our website on every pre-owned vehicle so that a customer can look at it, free of charge. Both AutoCheck and CarFax are reputable companies and we use them as a tool to determine how many owners the vehicle had, and, if it has been involved in an accident. On the day that you purchased your Eclipse Spyder, the AutoCheck did indeed give the car a clean bill of health. The information that you have is the same information that we have. I simply do not understand why you are upset with us over this issue. WE DID NOTHING WRONG! As to the tire issue, this dealership is simply not in the position to buy new tires for every vehicle that we sell, 3 months after the purchase. I do understand that you feel that you did nothing to accelerate the tire wear in the 3 months that you've owned the car but we didn't either. I did offer to replace the tire at dealer cost and pay for the mounting and balancing to no avail. So, while I'm disappointed that you feel that we've done something wrong, I feel that my salesperson, Jane Smallwood did an exemplary job of helping you get a car, although I know that this car wasn't your first choice. This car is the one that would work for your loan. So in closing, I realize that short of giving you a tire and mounting and balancing, you will not be satisfied. However, my offer still stands. We will get you a replacement tire at our cost, and mount and balance the tire at no cost to you. Also, we feel that in order to protect the replacement tire from the same issues, we recommend that your car have a 4 wheel alignment done. As a gesture to your unhappiness, I will authorize my service department to have this done at no charge as well. Please feel free to call me at any time if you wish to accept, or decline our offer. i appreciate your response and we do accept your offer. the tire at cost and free mount and balance with 4 wheel alignment. per our conversation prior this was never offered only the tire at your cost. i thank you for your understanding. yes i was upset at our prior meeting but i do have understanding from your stand point, since we have had the vehicle nothing has happened that could have caused this but how can i prove that and how could you know that. profit is the driving factor in any business and you as a manager have to protect that, i do understand and thank you.

While I've been aware of DealerRater, I've really just now started to look at the program and be able to respond to customers concerns. I am truly sorry for the way that this NON-transaction went. We had indeed been trying to help this customer with a purchase decision over a period of about 3 months. On the night in question, the customer did say that they were leaving a ball game to come and look at a certain Hyundai Elantra that she was interested in, not to buy that night but to take for the weekend to make sure that this would be the car for them to drive. In the meantime, before she could show up, another salesperson had a customer at the store on the very same car. They agreed to numbers and I felt that I had to take the deal since I had people making the decision to buy, versus not sure and going to drive for the weekend. This was a decision made by me, Boyd Young, not the salesperson, Gary Ross. Gary Ross is an honorable man that I would entrust my life to so I really just wanted to come on here to clear his name. Again, I'm sorry that in the 3 months of trying to help these fine folks get a car, we failed. I realize that they were upset but please, do not be upset with Gary Ross.
