Called ahead for advertised used special and by the time I got there, they said the ad was full of inaccurate information that they couldn't help (e.g. equipment that car came with). Went down there anyway I got there, they said the ad was full of inaccurate information that they couldn't help (e.g. equipment that car came with). Went down there anyway and test drove it. Didn't like the 4-cylinder 4Runner, so tried a used 6-cylinder that drove and was priced nicely. Bought it and then the trouble began. I had arranged to have the radio replaced with a cassette/radio and the mags had some kind of dirt/stain that was to be fixed. I took it in and they never offered a loaner (I still had my old car - didn't trade it in). That took forever. Then they told me they couldn't do anything about the wheels after all, but could SPRAY PAINT THEM SILVER to cover up the scratches and stuff!!! I was upset and asked them to switch wheels with another in their inventory and they wouldn't. I told them the day/night rear view mirror was always being banged by the visor when I flipped it down or to the side. They looked at it and kept trying to fix it, apparently. One time, they lost the keys to my car because a salesman had taken them home and they had to cut new ones! Finally, the service folk told me that the problem with the mirror was a known problem and there was no fix available for it. I would have to get used to readjusting my mirror several times a day when driving in daylight hours due to interference from the visor. I wanted them to refund my money since they had now had the car for about 20 or the 24 days I had "owned" it and they wouldn't. They said it had depreciated since I had owned it and stuff. I was livid! To make a long, trying story short, I ended up having to "trade in" my used one for a new one. That was probably even a worse financial decision than getting fleeced on the sale of defective goods and forsaken promises. This is the WORST experience I ever had at a dealer - even worse than my Lexus. More
