I have always brought my most of my cars from a Toyota dealership, this one was the worst Toyota Dealership I've ever dealt with. The salesman seems like he did not want to answer my questions. Fail to follow through on promise as of 7/14/23. I was told I would get second key to the car, I have not received it. I was told that the previous owner would bring key in, I have not receive any follow up. They told me that I could come in for 2 years of free tire rotation and oil change, I live in Austin why would I travel to Grapevine for that. More

He asked what he could do to get me in the door. I said I’m not paying any “added accessory fees” and that I had been approved for a loan but could finance through Toyota if they could match the rate my credit union gave me. He said he doesn’t add accessory fees and then sent the worksheet for the price on the internet, 300 dollar fee (dock fee, inspection, etc.) and sales tax. We schedule an appointment for later the same afternoon. This is when STEVE BRINGS OUT the SLEAZE and the SHAM. So I send the worksheet to my loan officer he said he needs a purchase order. I ask Steve to send that to me and/or directly to my loan agent. He keeps sending the worksheet so I call him and he says “we don’t take outside financing” TOTAL xx. Then his story changed to “we don’t take drafts from the bank, only money orders.” Steve it’s 2023 everyone takes drafts but you can try and inconvenience me all you want bc I’m ALWAYS going with the better rate. So I drive over there for the appointment and Steve sends his underling Adam over to “assist” me. Adam is asking me questions about what I like about the Rav4 and what I want my monthly payment to be, blah blah blah. I am not tied to the Rav4 in any way and I’m not telling you that info…lol. I’m already starting to get annoyed bc Steve and I worked out a deal over email. I just want to sign and go. I’m not going to sit at a dealership playing games. So Adam goes and gets the car it’s NOT the 2020 but the 2019. I say this is not the car (they were identical except the year). Adam says let me go check. He comes back and says it was sold to auction. REALLY 😡 Why the heck did I drive over here then??? Could have been an honest mistake but it was more like a BAIT and SWITCH tactic to get me in the door. I’m really ticked off at this point, Adam is being a smart xxx saying I never said the car was here with a smirk on his face. I was definitely not amused. No you didn’t Adam because I never talked to you before I walked in here. But SLEAZY STEVE definitely implied that by sending the worksheet over and scheduling an appointment with me to get the purchase order and buy the car. I walked out the door. Here are some lessons STEVE…#1 DON’T disrespect people’s time. I drove over there for no reason and stalling with your underlings when we already worked out a deal. I’m NOT dealing with that. #2 Inform the person that the car sold. It’s not a big deal. I would have come and looked at other cars and maybe bought something else BUT that is not going to happen when you try to “TRICK” me into a filthy 2019…there was so much dirt on the inside. #3 Don’t lie. I said I would finance through Toyota if the rate could be matched. I get it’s a business and you are trying to make money but out right lies don’t go over well with me. Best of luck Steve but I will NEVER set foot in Toyota of Grapevine again. There is no car that I have to have so badly that I am going to put up with that xx. P.S. Here is some advice for Adam (I don’t want him to feel left out)…Get that stupid smirk off your face and stop acting like a cocky little tool. A real life Spencer Pratt wannabe folks. Next thing you know Adam will be selling crystals and broke as a joke. More

Finnally HAD to deal with mark cause Abdel was on vacation. salesman was young hispanic who knew nothing about rav4. I THOUGHT I was a loyal returning customer after buying (NEW) 4 corrola-2 tundra-1 tacoma-1 Highlander-3 rav4 from grapevine from 2009 to 2022. As for Mark he tells you what you want to hear and makes empty promises just to get your signature on line and then doesnt give a xxxx bout you Return for rav4 window tint estamated time 15 min turn into 3 hrs which i notice Neil 2 times approch him to say hi and he picked up pace both times to avoid me. I live in far East Texas which is a 3 hr drive in and 3 hrs back home. I have toyota dealership in Longview and currantly talking to David Munoz in Mt Pleasant for another new vehicle these places are around me close.Guess Im the fool for thinking loyalty and returning meant something Where oh Where is the old Toyota sales Team of Grapevine when they was next door|| Dont Beleive they will be seeing Albert And Theresa Cooper any time soon More

Terrible experience. And it got worst! INITIAL REVIEW: I purchased a used car, and took three sales rep to finalize the agreement. I never received the key until the And it got worst! When they deliver the key, there was no second key. They didn't provide any support afterward to fix the problem, and several other parts that were missing and agreed to be provided, actually never got delivered. After two months of calls and messages with the sales rep who promised to solve all issues discussed, ended up ghosting Do not trust AFTER: As stated by their reply, I actually received a call scheduling an appointment for service. I decided to give them a second chance, scheduled the service, and deliver the car on the designated day and time. Here is the list of poor performance by the local team: - I arrived on time for the appointment. At the service, they didn't have the reservation in the system. - Took the vehicle for the check anyway, saying it could take up to 5 hrs. - 3 hours later, their inspection found a leak in the car I purchased from them, just a few weeks earlier. I also bought the Silver warranty when purchased the car for $1,000. They stated the component didn't fall in the warranty and presented me with a bill for over $600. (even if the car was purchased in that condition, obviously not inspected or ignored by them prior to the sale!!) - I asked for General Manager, as stated in their email. He was not available. I met with the assistant, explaining the issues I had leading up to that moment. - He said to the service dept. to pay special attention to this case - They also kept the car overnight, didn't offer transportation but a rental service, and stated would have covered the rental cost. - The next day I went to pick up the car, got a bill for $572, and also paid for the rental service. This is the Texas Toyota service with used vehicles, just after few weeks after the purchase. More
We recently bought a car from Texas Toyota of Grapevine. We tried everything to work out something with them, and they just kept using the "sleeze factor" in trying to resolve anything. First, when you go in there, you will notice it feels like a "sweat shop" in some ways, or a time share presentation. There is an island of people around computers that you are told are "the managers". Later, you will learn it is the 1-2 punch, or the "closer" that comes in after you make a deal with your salesman. We had a total of 3 closers come over to us to try to play the sales game with us. They are not professional to say the least! That wasn't all. We had issues after the sale where we didn't receive what we were supposed to on the car, and their service was HORRIBLE. Our sales guy (Anye) kept putting us through to his "sales closer" do deal with customer service issues. The sale was over with, we just needed what we purchased! Nope, they wouldn't honor anything, and work with us. Finally, I contacted the GM of TX Toyota, or TRIED TO! I left him 2 VM's, and several messages to be passed on to him from employees. Never heard back from him. To me, that is despicable and I don't see how a great brand like "Toyota" can allow a dealership to operate like this. We can very confidently say we will NEVER EVER buy anything from them again. Definitely, not refer them either. Quite the opposite because we want to save people the pain that we went through. A car buying experience should not be this "SLEEZEY"! We have bought 5 vehicles in the last 6 years from Grubbs Infiniti, and Sewell Dealerships, we can appreciate their customer service so much more now. Grubbs or Sewell would have NEVER treated us the way we were treated at TX Toyota. It's such a shame too, since Toyota World corporate HQ is located in Plano Texas, only 20 minutes away. Like so many other people in the online reviews for Texas Toyota, it is a HORRIBLE and exhausting experience. Do NOT subject yourself to this. Demand better, and more professional experience. You will find it elsewhere. More
We had our car towed to the service department. David was very helpful to get our car repaired. When we went to pick it up we were looking to replace the car. Cesar Dominguez was the associate to show us two vehicles we were looking at. With the help of the sales manager we bought a 2023 Highlander. Duane Stice in finance was very professional setting up the details of the sale. We recommend Texas Toyota of Grapevine. More
BUY ELSEWHERE! !!! We have purchased MANY cars and this is the WORST experience we have ever had! We bought our son a used KIA for Christmas! We were told by J !!! We have purchased MANY cars and this is the WORST experience we have ever had! We bought our son a used KIA for Christmas! We were told by John the Used Salesman that the vehicle was new to the Used car lot and it would have the mandatory 180 point safety check done, maintenance needed done and ALL safety equipment (spare tire & tools missing when we looked over vehicle) would be in the car when we came to collect it. We put a deposit down, left car to get safety check and maintenance etc done. Used Salesman John "Big John" called and told us "Yes, everything is done and it was ready for pick up! We rushed over that evening to get the car as it was almost Christmas and we wanted to surprise our son for Christmas! It was freezing weather when we went to collect the vehicle so we neglected to check for the spare and tools - Unfortunately, we trusted the salesman's "word"... BIG MISTAKE!!!!! We paid cash in full as WE promised - Got the car home - then when we looked in trunk - there was NO SPARE and NO emergency tools! We called the next day and spoke with our used salesman John and was PROMISED the dealership would deliver tire and tools ASAP! CRICKETS!!! NOTHING delivered!!! My husband called again, now the excuse is the tire/tools is on order. Then at least 3 times we were told by John used salesman that the tire was in stock (at the dealership) and he would hand delivered the tire/tools to us (dates/times given). We waited and waited and waited!!!!! STILL no show and no delivery! So.... ONE MONTH later, manager of service Dan and the manager of used sales Omar and John our used salesperson are all aware of our situation. And Yes, we are STILL WAITING!!! We can't safely use the car we bought for our son for Christmas because there is NO spare or tools in the car. We live out in the country and we don't want to risk my Autistic teen or myself getting stuck in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire in the cold!!!! So thanks for ruining our sons big Christmas Texas Toyota... it really sucks to pay all this money for a vehicle and we had to tell our son... ***MERRY CHRISTMAS SON!! YOU can look at your new "used" car but sorry you can't drive it!**** :o( All I can say - from our experience - there is a MAJOR lack of integrity, professionalism and honesty when dealing with these employees! Don't believe a word these people tell you... this experience is what gives "Car salesman and car dealerships a BAD name" Hopefully a bad review may motivate this dealership into doing the RIGHT thing! VERY DISAPPOINTED! More
