The staff was friendly, and I appreciated that they were able to fit me in last minute. However, I'm giving 3 stars because they recommended a service that turned out to be unnecessary. They replaced my car battery—which was only 2 years old—when the real issue was just a faulty clip. Unfortunately, this wasn't discovered until after the battery was already replaced, and I ended up paying $380 for something that wasn't actually needed. More

I was hesitant to go back to this dealership after coming here for years. I haven’t always been pleased with the experience in the past but decided to give it another try. I arrived around 10:30 on a busy Fr here for years. I haven’t always been pleased with the experience in the past but decided to give it another try. I arrived around 10:30 on a busy Friday morning, before Father’s Day weekend. No appointment. Someone immediately came out and greeted me (I’m usually waiting a while before someone comes out). I needed an oil change, tire rotation, and state inspection, also a diagnostic on something going on with the steering wheel. Samantha was my service advisor and she was very attentive and knowledgeable. One issue I had with the automatic lift gate she was able to fix immediately and showed me what was going on and how she fixed it. Usually I’m nervous to go to any dealership because I know next to nothing about cars and service advisors tend to be a little condescending, but Samantha was patient, answered all my questions, and explained things to me in detail which I appreciate. She was able to call me an uber back home (within 10 miles). The ride service was quick and easy. She asked me what time I needed my vehicle back by and I told her 2:00 pm. Around 1:30 I received a notification that my vehicle was ready. I was pleasantly surprised. The inspector was able to troubleshoot the issue with the steering wheel and fixed it. I also appreciate the transparency in pricing and the text message service I received that shows all the service recommendations. I was able to go in and select which services I wanted and I was glad the notifications were sent to the correct phone number this time. Also, In the past, I’ve often had to ask for a new oil change reminder sticker or remind them to reset the oil change/tire rotation mileage warnings on my dashboard. Not this time. After picking up my vehicle, I was pleased to see all the warnings were off/reset, and there was already a new sticker on my window. I was also able to pay in the kiosk with the service advisor, which was a much smoother process than going to the secretary desk, waiting in line, and if I had questions I was able to ask the advisor at payment. Also, always love the complimentary car wash. My experience was very smooth and I’ll come back to Nissan of Grapevine. More
